Hi guys, this is for those who are into SMS Marketing. Most of you guys engage with an SMS company to blast out your dating/giftcards/etc campaign. Although this does make money, here's another twist that will definitely make you more money. You will easily bank minimum $100 per sale..

1) Become a reseller for the SMS company you're with.
2) Where to find leads? Easy.. Classified ads, deal sites like groupon etc, restaurant review sites, anywhere that you see advertising.
3) Some tips. According to our experience, here are some of the easiest types of people to sell SMS to (from easiest to hardest):

- Property agents/realtors
- Non-profit organizations and schools
- Marketing and media agencies
- Restaurants
- Nightclubs (We thought this would be easiest, but they turn out to be one of the toughest clients to close deals with. However, they tend to spend more if you know how to talk your way through.. ;))

That's it guys.. SMS Marketing has been around for quite some time but not many know/are doing it.. Also, once people trust you, you don't have to go looking for leads anymore. Word of mouth is the best marketing tool ever..

Trust me, soon, you will be getting more leads than you can handle.. :)

Thanks for sharing those tips.
By the way which company are you using to get resellership?

ok but here my issue, i already have website, then now how to get customers, ex:restaurants, how about if they don't have a list and I don't, how we go from here?
i hope that you understand my point.

Hi poweronics, I can't really recommend you as it would be my biased opinion. But I would recommend a company in which you can meet them face-to-face, better local than non-local.. But I leave it up to you.

If you do really want my opinion, pm me.. I will give you a list that I personally trust and you can decide for yourself..

Hi yuyo, good question.. For restaurants, you can see which restaurants are already advertising.. Classified ads, tv commercials etc, food review sites etc.. These companies are already spending money on advertising so if you can bring them more exposure and possibly more sales, why not?

As for the list, that's where you stress to them the importance of getting a list.
You can either :
1) Buy a mobile numbers list
2) Tell them to run a campaign where their existing/future customers can SMS to a certain number to get promos/discounts/deals in future..

I would personally go the 2nd route.. :)

I found a pretty good web application for mobile marketing and pretty reasonable you can PM me if you want the details. I dont want to be accused of spamming here :)
