Absolutely friends....without dashes is the EMD.
simple experiments has great results.... this is the one.

when it comes to SEO
if the kw is xxxxxx ....so www.xxxxxx.com is perferct
but when the keyword is xxxxxx yyyyyy (or) xxxxxx yyyyyy zzzzzz. there is space btwn the words... why not the dashes (acting as space) in the domain perform good in google searches

For Eg. www.low-competition-kw.com can be better than www.lowcompetitionkw.com
not finalized.....just doing some experiments

If it's taken buy another extension instead of .com, like .net or .org, it would be better than putting dashes on it.

I would buy an EMD for $200 from the current domain owner (especially .com cause they really have an unfair ranking advantage) anytime now that I have tested backlinking nonEMDs like KWx.com

I am with http://www.xxxxyyyyyzzzzz.com because it will appear as a brand name. Google love to rank brand names. It is rare to register brand names with dashes. You can make the domain as brand name by choosing keywords in you link building plan.
