Any tips on gaining MozTrust?

One of my clients is concerned about MozTrust lately.

I regularly do SeNuke and AMR blasts and apparently it's making MozTrust plummet.

Any tips?

Ideally to gain the MozTrustRank score you should build more links from domains that already have high MozTrustRank score. Now the question is how to find those domains that have high MozTrustRank...

Sorry I do not have data for MozTrustRank, however I DO have data for just MozRank. The data have been obtained by analyzing about 2 mil of backlinks through SEOmoz API.

I am assuming that at least some of these domains also have high "Trust" rank...

I;m not sure if blog link from the above sites would pass trust or not.

For some reason, my MozRank is okay, but the MozTrust rating has gone way down below all major competitors lately. Any idea why?

A mozrank of 4. and above is decent, in my view and easy to achieve. Moving up from there is when things get harder.

A simple way is to run your competitor's links and check their domain/page authority. Likewise, doing the same via iBacklinkpro can also give you some good do - follow backlinks that you could link to.

I'm a big fan of SeoMoz. I think they do a monthly update of links and stuff. Their last update was on 20th Feb.. so from anytime tomorrow, expect another DB update and changes to your moz score.

As far as I know just get a bunch of .GOV and .EDU website links and after about 1 month it will increase.

I mean .GOV and .EDU not the crap subdomain links (for example: abc.edu).

It worked for me and my MozTrust is increasing due to this method.
(MozTrust can and will decrease when you lose the .gov and .edu links , so i bet your client lost a bunch of trusted links and so moztrust dropped).

MozTrust isn't really similar to PR at all. A site can have high PR and still be extremely low on the MozTrust scale because all of the backlinks pointing to it are spammy.
