Hey guys,

Need a little time from one of you guys if possible

Today, I bought a pr9 domain from godaddy auction. I did fair bit of research ( whatever I knew) and went ahead with the deal because everything looked valid to me expect for the fact that there were hardly any backlinks to the domain. But, I went ahead with the deal. Now, I want someone to check if they can tell me if the PR9 domain is faulty or real. I don't want to share it on public. So, can someone look at it? Plz send me a pm or just post here so that I can send a pm. Thanks in advance.

P.S = Sharing the domain here now as advised by one person.

Are the backlinks from high PR sites in the PR9 and PR10 region?

If they are not you have been had my friend and should report this transaction to GoDaddy Auctions, and try and get yourself a full refund.

Not from high pr sites but the pr shows valid in most tools that I check. The site is not passed on to me just the domain. I am still not sure if the domain is good or not, so will allow few bhw members to take a look and then opt for a refund if required. I was willing to bear the loss while taking over the domain so no moaning or groaning at all.

P.S- This is the domain http://www.dvpsd.com/

No it is not a PR9 domain. That help?

Rule of thumb: If its a real PR9 site, you can't afford it. If you can afford it, it is not a real PR9 site.

What kind of traffic is there for dvpsd, or rather why did you buy the domain at all?

Out of curiosity, how much did you lose on this? :)

Little less than $1100. Hence, it was worth the risk. Sometimes, risk pays off sometimes it doesn't. That's okay.

Your profile says that you are a member here since March 2009

Yes, since 2009. There is no end to learning. I have always taken risk all my life sometimes very foolish to the extent of having nothing in my bank balance so this is nothing new to me.

By the way, that 1k was 20% of my yearly savings after meeting all the expenses.

I believe that if you don't take risks you don't grow. Thats the way I am :)

No, no, you got that wrong. You grow but taking educated actions and accepting the risks involved. You missed the first part, as you obviously know nothing about domain valuation. So, that 's not taking risk, it 's trowing money away for no possible gain.

Bloody hell mate. Might as well of put your money into some backlinking tools here on BHW. Hell you might of got PR9 that way!

$1100 is a lesson learned for you?

In my book that is an EXPENSIVE lesson indeed.

That is like owning a boat....
