What is a good amount of proxies to scrape Google without getting them banned? Is 10 enough?

Thanks.

That's what I used with SB was 10 private proxies and it work real good for me.

Thanks. How many connections do you use with 10 proxies?

I recommend 10 private proxies at minimum if your scraping for more than 20 minutes at a time. My connections are around 50-75 but I also have a 40 mb/s DSL fiber optic connection. Just set your timeout to 90 seconds if your getting timeout errors and lower your count until you see a steady success rate.

Great thanks!

I use around 600 public proxies daily (fast). I use a 100mb connection and have my connection settings to around 80-100.

does't matter the number, the number of threads is more important. If you make 2 requests per each proxy per minute you should be safe

I agree with that... As I said before when talking about proxy try to see the problem from the server connection not as web browsing.

G do not care how many people (IP's) connect, they look how often an IP send an request.

I use larger lists of public proxies for scraping and harvesting (100+)
I use 20 private proxies for all my commenting

This is what's ideal for my internet connection and pc, as far as how much scrapebox can handle. :)

200 connections with 20 private proxies...12 hours straight with no problems
