Haha, I took a deep breath and I'm back at it. Working on pushing one of my old sites up from #11 to the top.

• I contacted them about 2 weeks ago, no response. Don't expect them to care or to respond.
• True, I'll wait and see what happens, maybe they will come back.
• Very tough competition, these are big sites and up against some huge competition, was gonna use my 5 mini sites to finance the SEO and content for the bigger ones. Back to square one now though lol
• I use hostgator, I was just joking about that part haha, just seems like I keep having bad luck so I was blaming on it the shared hosting, but hostgator has been great.

You need to try other traffic sources like CPV. It's cheap and super targeted and under rated. Build simple landers, split test like a mad man. This will show G that you don't need there traffic to make money while still using Google for traffic, if you follow.

Good - a lot of people would have given up after experiencing what you are going through right now.

At least you reached out them, it's a step in the right direction. I would follow up with another e-mail. Maybe even post in the Google Webmaster forum to see what kind of feedback you get there. You've put in a lot of money, time and effort - fight for them.

Well, for the big sites -

• Are you analyzing your competition?
• What does their link portfolio look like?
• What does the site structure look like?
• What kind of content is it?

As you know, there are tons of on-site and off-site factors - try to inform yourself about as much of them as possible.

I suggest that you take advantage of this: Cognitive SEO - They offer a 2 week trial. I have a feeling you, and others, will like it. It gives you a 30,000 foot view of the competition. Also, support is EXCELLENT in case you need anything.

Things can get difficult sometimes....most of us have been there.

What matters now is what do you do with the situation? Everything depends on YOUR RESPONSE to whatever happened.

My suggestion to you is:

- Learn from your mistakes, and move on (this is the BEST Response).
- Focus on doing your best NOW based on what you know.
- Keep doing your best 1 day at a time.

Almost all of our failures and successes happen in our own heads.
