After how much time, i have to see change in the ranking of the new domain? I did the 301 redirect a 24 hours ago but the new domain is still nowhere in the serp.

I did my redirect on the 4th. Ordered an ALN blast on the 5th......

1st March - #16
5th - #16 ALN blast starts
7th - #47
8th - #48
11th - #63
13th - #41

lol! Make something idiot proof and they invent a better idiot.

sorry, couldn't resist but your signature was asking for it.
maybe you should read the op again. it has to be a new site.

Thanks, but it is a new site. I already posted that earlier. It was 2 weeks old when the redirect was set in place and already sitting in position 16 due to being an EMD with great unique content.

Here's another quote you might like....

UPDATE:

My site is still sitting at #10 even though ALN drop half their network over night so we will see. I know that you previously recommended them Bobby, so what now when it comes to linking?

Congrats!

I recommend FBL, BAN, and Jacky8

Bobby,

My question is around ALN and other private blog networks. Didn't G give them a big slap with their latest round of updates? If so, what would you recommend as an alternate strategy? One other question, if you have a new site that has already been up for a few months, will it benefit from having an aged domain redirected to it?

I recommend FBL, BAN, and Jacky8

No, I do not recommend doing that to an already aged site.

Use some of the other services that I recommend with multiple LSI anchors, and you'll be ranking.

I was thinking two different hosting accounts is probably best for this strategy. With the most basic package you get two domains. That means you could have:
Account #1 with Aged Domain A and New Domain A, and
Account #2 with Aged Domain B and New Domain B. Then you could:
Redirect Aged Domain A to New Domain B, and
Redirect Aged Domain B to New Domain A.

If you kept going with more aged and new domain pairings though, you'd probably want to go with 1 reseller account and just add another $2/mo to your bill for each new pairing. Am I making sense?

Xtro

You don't need two accounts I don't think...All you need is one account with 4 hosting accounts using 4 different IPs. Correct me if Im wrong Bobby.

how about unlimited hosting on godad**? or it is recommended different hosting to get different IP?

There is no 1 way to do it when it comes to hosting, but EVERYTHING related to the site needs to be on a different ip.

I personally recommend namecheap.com

I'd stay away from godaddy hosting, they are super strict and ban accounts for no reason; same goes with hostgator.

I know what FBL is but what is BAN and Jacky8?

Also I know that a lot of people use the same sites in ALN and FBL, just some food for thought.:D

The people who use the same sites in ALN and FBL will be banned because those networks are making changes.

Both BAN and Jacky8 are BHW members, and here are their services:

BAN:

Code:

Jacky8:

b)Add a 1,000 unique word article (use The Best Spinner software and find a 1,000+ word article or multiple 300 word articles, make 1 post, add the unique article, then publish)

in addition to 300 word articles, does this supports 2 articles of 600 words as well?

Bobby,
Do you analyze how many referring domains the site currently holding the #1 position has? Wouldn't that factor play into the level of difficulty for ranking your own site?

I do not really do too much analyzing.

I just pick a keyword that is profitable and rank for it.

Bobby, I dont understand, If you do not recommend ALN then why recommend Jacky8 who uses ALN to get the links?

GREAT!!!!! this method is really clean and efficient....i was asking myself.....what do u use to check if it's indexed the first time (google it with ""?, scrapebox indexed?)?...on godaddy u have to check one domain per time...and most of them are not indexed...is there anyway to automate this procedure?...once u buy it and put content...how can u verify that the site has been indexed with new articles and is not indexed as before? thanks in advance :)

I don't see any effect from the aged domain 301 redirect. My new domain is two weeks old with EMD and unique content.

This wasn't mentioned in your opening post. The point of your thread as I understood was to rank new sites WITHIN 7 DAYS using a 301 redirect from an aged domain.

Of course I can rank the site using other services, be pretty useless if I couldn't. But it kinda makes the whole point of your thread meaningless.

Oh well, time to move and and go back to ranking the site with traditional methods.

For me this case study, which I did by the book was an epic fail.
