zencart vs OSC vs Presta??

i'm using prestashop for more than 3 years, using free premium plugins. first time using ps13 and now using 144. condition nowadays much better since the forums is crowd and you can get enough support from there.
latest version is 147, but i cant give you any reviews about that. standard theme is little bit ugly, but working good. that's why i always install premium theme. implementing premium theme always need a lot of effort since many visualization issues like unworking sliders, pictures did not show etc etc. but after running, it's good system. It's stable.
Version 144 come with smarty, but this make web loading become slower.
If you want to implement this, I very very veeery recommend you to test it using localhost first before uploading to your hosting. make sure all function working. i disable cache because it makes paypal payment not working.
I still use is until now and working good. I don't want to change into another system until i can make sure to get better (& free).

Go with magento, its much more stable and customizable with a good developer community around it.
Did you make your own premium theme?
I have given it a thought but it seems tougher to get used to magento then presta and i need some quick results.

Magento is a little tougher to get all the pieces to work together like good little modules...plus, custom themes cost an arm and a leg.
OSC is obnoxious in that it's almost too open ended, and most people who want to use it want something that's lightweight and simple. Way too much time is spent setting up OSC.
Be different, use Prestashop. I haven't had experience with it, but just checked out a demo and it doesn't look terrible.

What about the Wordpress based on from WooThemes? It looks very good, and seems to have a lot of functionality and they have like 100 or so plugins it seems to integrate it directly with services like Freshbooks, your local post office, accounting software, etc.

premium themes cost some amount always.but what about plugins? hey, tell the man about free plugins for prestashop
... omg.. the prices are ridiculous!!! and I am talking about the basic plugins for seo needs.. meanwhile you will get the majority of same plugins/extensions/modules free of charge for Magento!!Magento rules the party!! The only side-effect - it is slllloooooowwww by default setup - you will have to fiddle around
