Where's the updated list? ohlog.com is nofollow and doodlekit.com requires credit card for free accounts to be visible.

Anyone else having an issue with these web 2.0 properties outranking the main site?

I've been posting unique content to these and they are outranking my main site for the keywords I've been targeting for over a year now with a bunch of services ordered from BHW... often in 1 week.. and they even stick. A lot of them have been ranking for over a month now.

Theres hardly any backlinks going into them, just a few web 2.0s blasted with sb. Does this mean all the seo services offered here on BHW are useless?? :S

The fact that a web 2.0 property can easily outrank a 1 year + site with consistent link building from various services costing over hundreds per kw (overall). I am so confused right now. I'm thinking about just creating all my stuff on web 2.0s instead of my own website, they rank better with 1/10th of the effort and with crappier content too.

so if i manually create web 2.0 properties on these with my money site link twice in a spun article, and then blast all those web 2.0 properties with scrapebox on 25k blogs, i should see alot of movement in the serps for my money site ????


im kind of worried about what buddy said above me about the web 2.0's out ranking his money site...i wonder if its because u used your keyword for your anchor text on the web 2.0's.

It's because he targeted his main keyword in the web 2.0 which you are NOT supposed to do.

The keyword targeted was actually a longer tail version of my main keyword but ended up outranking my main keywords. I guess that's not good to use either.

However, just recently I've actually made the decision to start ranking web 2.0s now instead of my main website (i'll still link to it and rank it over time) simply because ranking a web 2.0 is 10x easier and less costly. Takes about 30 backlinks and its already on first page lol, didn't even do on-page seo either. I have one keyword medium competition and on the first page its my keyword, my typepad property and my squidoo. The only difference I can see right now is my website page took around 400 bucks of various services so far while typepad and squidoo... maybe like 20 bucks.

I know I don't own the properties, and people always talk about web 2.0s getting banned, I've never had this happen yet when I use unique content. In either case, great list, I'm going to go through each of them cuz I want to see which ranks well and which allows affiliate promotion. If anyone knows the answer to this already please let me know

I am beginning to feel sorry for the owners of these web 2.0. I was checking the list and most closed their registrations due to spam. I even read one that stated: "We tried to implement re-captcha but that did not stop spammer, they began to sign up manually" ... if they knew how "manually" re-captcha can be overcome...

Just wondering whether anyone of you know any reliable tool to schedule and dripfeed posts to Web 2.0 properties. I'm not interested at automated creation as we prefer to do it manually.
