[HELP] New Adwords account not working after 1 week

So I recently purchased an Adwords coupon code worth $100 off eBay, and proceeded to launch my ads last Tuesday. While the account has not been banned or anything strange like that, my campaign is STILL not running and I am extremely frustrated. I emailed Google only to get some automated BS response. Can anyone help? Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does your ad say "Under Review" ? To figure which words are triggering a review, write a new ad one word at a time until the ad is triggered as review. Try write an ad without the triggering keyword and let it run. This way atleast you can still get an ad up and running until your other ad gets reviewed.

Your adwords account and campaign is new so it takes few days to review. Wait for couple of days.
Also check your status using "Diagnosis tool" it shows why your ads not running. But its limited only for text ads.

I am having the same problem:

I have tried with UK, US, EUR vouchers and one or two start showing ads, but more are "hanging", that is not banned, not under review....just not running.

I *think* it is down to billing info. I *think* google are calling these entries billing details more often.

if anyone has more experience, please give it.

To reiterate - I have been "voucher accoiunt flipping" for over a year, getting 1000s of free adwords credits.
Tthis is a new thing, a new behaviour by google.

A few days seems reasonable, but it's been since last Tuesday, today.

Interesting to hear this. So this problem wasn't until recently for you? All I want is a little trial run with Adwords to see if it'll be worth investing more money. It's an iPhone unlock site, and I can't really think of any better way for fast traffic.

UPDATE, just logged into my account and this is what I got:

Your Google AdWords account has been permanently suspended because your billing information in this or a related account could not be verified.

*sigh* damn.

Few questions for you....

1. What country are you in (IP address)
2. What country (& currency) was the voucher you used?

Are your voucher/coutry:ipaddress of your machine matching?

Did you use fake contact details (as in a dud address and phone number?)


--- I sense there are problems when you mix vouchers from say India (vouchers got from an Indian IP) with a website/adwords account created in USA or any combo of this mis match.

Let's see if we can work this out. Adwords vouchers worked fine until the last week, and the thing that changed for me was where i got the vouchers.

What country are you targeting with Adverts?
Did you use Adwords Editor (Yes/NO)

I think google just do more manual check recently, it take a few days to review your account.

what is the status next to your ad unit ?

Ad status is usually "approved" but the ads are simply not live in the SERP.
Then after a week or so the account is banned, which implies manual verification.

I just got some new, fresh, UK sourced, UK issued vouchers and I have got back to business

ALL MY PROBLEMS stem from mixing US vouchers with UK sites and UK Currency, so cross polination problems.....

if this helps anyone great, and if you are still grinding others ways ...cool too!

Why peoples are saying 1 or 2 week?
