Get HUGE traffic from Google Images! NOOB FRIENDLY!!!

For those who are not converting well with images, You have to be creative!
Break down the whole process from the users stand point.
Why are they searching for what they are searching for?
What would entice them to click your image?
What about your image entices them to browse your website?

Think about it as free advertisement! If you were to pay for PPC of PPV. your landing page or advertisement would be awesome!

So back to the hangover 2 example. If you had a picture which was a screen shot of the movie, it would entice people to click. If they notice they can watch the movie on your site, make them take a simple survey or use proper ad placement!

If you had a website based around making money on the internet, and you wanted to sell an e-book. You would use an awesome picture with results to entice them and hopefully convert on some sales of your ebook based on that!

I use CPA full time. But for everyone using ads to monetize like adsense. Youtube a guy named "Joel Comm". I think he created Yahoo games and he is an adsense guru. He will teach you guys about ad placement, color of your ads, etc etc etc.

Google images will indeed boost traffic! It is your job to be creative and make those conversions!!!!

Good Luck!

FYI adding frame breaking code to your images will make your images appear lower in the rankings, at least it did years ago when I was doing it.

Yeah, I have done this for awhile--its brought me some traffic, but not a ton. Think it really depends on the niche.

Google images is just a crap source of traffic.

Traffic is traffic! It is what you do with the traffic which makes it convert or not!

I find google images to be a free quick and easy way for free traffic to any site!
Good Luck!

I've done this with my site but forgot alt tags.I'll be changing that today

Awesome post. I've had a great amount of luck with images as well. Actually, the first blog post I ever wrote about was how I found success and traffic through images, on that CommentLuv website.

Sure, it depends on niche, but not as much as people might think. It takes creativity, and you see some great advice here in this thread - think about why they're searching images and not pages, put yourself in their shoes and work on the conversion.

Maybe you get 0 conversions from any extra Google Image traffic for the first month or two - that's FINE. It gives you something to test against. It's real hard determining how well your website works when you have 0 traffic, period. This is just another way to pull people into your spot on the net. And it gives you the learning opportunity of being able to see what works for YOU, your website, and your visitors.

It definitely depends on the niche. On most of my sites I block google images from crawling so I don't get image searchers burning up unnecessary bandwidth and stealing images from my site :D

that's true. i am also getting good traffic through google images..

I've been using TumblrShop from Linkshare to publish items from TigerDirect.

I just post what ever images come up for each item. Guess I'm going to do the image part manually now.

Just a thought...

Run his google image traffic plan, let masses of people hotlink to your images and eat your bandwidth, and then when you are getting a boatload of image traffic, change the image to an advertisement.... at best you would just create ad images and replace the traffic images with your ad images, and at worse you would have to simply be sure to make your ad image the exact same mb as your traffic images.

And the end result will be free ads for your offer on all of those peoples web sites.

This is why when i jack google images i save them to my computer and then upload to my server.

Moral of the story - let the smart ones rip off your images, and let the dumb ones hot link to them.

Hot links = advertisements on their site for your offer.
image theft = small price to pay for all of those ads you have promoting your offer now.

That's my twist and i'm stickin to it.
