How to get members for a website simular to blackhat

let's just give blackhat for example its a website that gives you free knowledge - people can post freely etc

It's been 6 months working hard day in and day out getting thousands of organic sign ups - organic because the website works for them they signed up they like what they see therefore they simply return

now the aim is to get more sign ups I'm thinking of google adwords are they any other ways where I can pay out money to receive good advertising to reach out for sign ups

are there any services where I could hire people out to make them get sign ups and pay out a certain amount of money?

I don't want fake posts my friend - thanks for posting but I'm talking real users how we you go about drawing them in to sign up

if there's any services out there where people will go about marketing through facebook twitter or there website to obtain sign ups for you then I'm more than happy to go with that

what makes a "forum" site succesfull OP is its community. make people that "matter" on your subject write 1-2 posts / day on it and then you will clearly have success.

community sites are build on people (that share great content)
everything else just needs great content

this is the rule I followed since launch date but you posting has opened my mind up slightly more that I may need to focus on this even more

Get ad space on facebook or get a hashtag promoted on twitter and the sign-ups/traffic should come flying in.

Make a referral contest. Monthly or for some period contest. member who bring most referral will get the prize, it can be cash or your site merchandize (tshirt, mug, etc). Also make some creative to make member spread the word easily.

But above of all, great content and activity is a must. Member will leave if the website look like a ghost town

havn't tried facebook ad space but - yes hashtags and facebook fan page promotions have been done since day 1 thanks for your input much appreciated

I don't quite get this - you mean a 60% / 40% share we have 1 banner installed of adsense dont make much but that isn't what im looking for atm strictly organic traffic first before trying to make money

Not at all mate , this idea is very famous in our country , webmasters attract people using this , there is a hack for vb forums which allow you to make people
ads appear in their threads 60 times , and your ad appear 40 times so the more posts they write the more they earn and you also so you get many quality posts
in little time and get popular fast

Nah forums are a waste of time unless you hit it big. CPMs suck. Server costs are incredibly high and there are too many spammers. Much better to go with an e-commerce site. Now, if you really want leads, why not hire some people to start discussions? Then start doing some heavy SEO and rank for some keywords. People will eventually come to you.

you are correct they can be a waste of time if not done correctly however I have my SEO covered but I'd just like to attract those users more - the more activity the better each and every day will go in terms of productivity
