Am i missing something? I just got the Kick ass product with the main intention of getting this G**gle domination video guide. All it seems to be is saying is create a google maps listing.

It doesn't tell you how to tweak anything or what to do in order to get it in the maps listing quickly. Maybe i missed a video or something but i don't think so.

Sorry if i'm being stupid but it doesn't seem to show how you dominate google except saying make sure your domain name is the same as your keyword you want to rank for.

Like UKescuba said, the method still works. I used it after purchasing kickass and I now rank number one for my targeted keyword and for another long tail keyword (woohoo bonus). Aside from the google maps thing there are a few previous webinars on his site which are damn useful. Good product + good service = Happy customer.

Keep in mind recent Google changes concerning Local searches. Importance of local goes up but so do the checks. This may or may not effect your plans. Just wanted to mention this.

Yes. Recent changes have definitely changed the way GMaps works. It's not as easy as just creating a keyword rich listing anymore. I used to be able to get on the 1st page of Gmaps for any keyword I wanted...but not anymore. Your organic results play a much larger role in the whole picture now.

I've been reading threw all of this and im already putting it into action, im not highly skilled in SEO and i think i can pull this off myself and learn from it, it's a very good idea in my opinion.

My question is back to the whole google map thing.. the niche im targetting has around 3-5 listings for local map.. BUT there is 3 sites ranking above the map listings... so my question is can i try also outrank the map listings? is it possible? well obviously it is possible, but how? or should i black hat verify my site as a business listing to display in the local map?

The real question is, should i try to rank higher than the local maps like the other 3 have managed to do, or place it in local?
