viewers from that video are "hungry leads", which means that they won't check what the offer is etc ... they will just put their emails hoping for a free iPhone or iPad ( just a point of view).

Your statement is false in survival ways.

You have no way in proving they have "good lawyers", just because they gain an imaginary amount of money (do you even know how much Google earn roughly?).

Google can do whatever they want as long as they also comply with their ToS that you agreed to when creating a YouTube account, in fact, you don't even need a youtube account as such.

The stuff youtube would require to do isn't "easy" and because only a small number of people are botting, it would be incredibly time consuming for them to focus on something so small.

Just out of interest, how many people actually knew about the rtsp files and how they worked BEFORE the bot was released?

So your assumption is more that YouTube, host of probably more copyright content that any other website online, keeps a staff of several mediocre lawyers on hand? That seems reasonable.

Many people knew about streaming RTSP files, but didnt have the knowledge to automate it properly. Not everyone likes to shout out their findings publicly right away.

This is true. All their servers are literally getting raped. You can't even stream videos using normal applications such as VCL.

Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://v7.cache2.c.youtube.com/CjYLENy73wIaLQkJes2X1RNCPBMYESARFEIJXYtZ29vZ2xlSARSBXdhdGNoYNG3ib_i9pyYTww=/0/0/0/video.3gp'. Check the log for details.

 
I thought about this too and I'm not sure if they would ban your video. I say
this because it would be very easy for someone to submit a gazillion hits to a
competitors video and get it banned.

Maybe they would look for a footprint or something to make the software
inoperable.

I have 3 people on my network, 1 of which was on netflix. I ran MagicViews and it crashed my internet twice lol. I have 60m/s download too, so make sure you can run it!

I can only speak of Magicviews.

Magicviews is certainly not and was never intended to be used for any kind of denial of service. Magicviews is an rtsp client that follows the rtsp protocol, it properly tears down the connection(s) it creates after the rtsp requests are made to not hog any resources on the server.

By default, Magicviews is set to the lowest possible parameters; specifically to deliver 1 view per video, using only 1 thread. The user is not incentivized in any way to deliver faster rtsp requests.

The creators I was referring to are the ones like IzSpk whose intent WAS to cause YouTube so much trouble, that they would be forced to take action and no longer ignore him. He took it very personally that YouTube didn't patch the Mobile Views issue, and this was his revenge. His intent was clear and is documented in several places online where he mentions giving youtube no choice but to take action, and the other creator being the guy who made/released YoutubeFucker. The intent of YoutubeFucker is quite clear by the name itself, and he would have a hell of a time proving his intentions were clean, as would any user of YoutubeFucker.

MagicViews was specifically designed to have very strict limits, and only REALLY became an issue after being cracked. So I think its intentions were ambiguous enough to be in the clear here.
 
From my quick research I have learned this have been going on for years. If you look up this new semi-talented artist name Lana Del Rey ranking up 34 million views. Boring Vloggers are abusing it as well.

I wonder how the facebook youtube views work?
