I co-own an export company and right now we export ceramics and allied goods to Europe.
I would like to know what products are in demand currently in your Country so that I can diversify.
I don't want to get into raw produce or chemicals. Other than that, I can export anything.

Please let me know which kind of Indian products you feel are selling well.

Thanks!

This may sound weird but Bhut Jolokia seeds and dried Bhut Jolokia sell well i think. Especially now that they are such a trend on youtube (ghost peppers)

Well, brides and slaves are out of the question, LOL
and as I said, raw agriproducts require additional certifications etc...don't want to get into that unless I can find big regular clients.

Got quite a few suggestions for hair. Will look into that.

Did some research and seems like Indian Handicraft is big business. Things like carpets, furniture, stone sculptures, paintings, etc... They seem to sell well.

For the business Maybe indian ladies dress, stuffs related to bollywood movies... but it depends on the countries u're targetting.

an ebook on how we have big head and small penis. Will work for those who hurt their GF's a lot :p

Search in google for ShalinIndia.
ShalinIndia was one of the top seller on amazon.com & amazon.co.uk
You will get an idea of what sells.

I was in India few months ago. Brought back some straw slippers. Waiting for summer to set in so I can sell them. So far managed to sell 1 out of the 5 pairs. Made a decent buck considering they costed just a few cents to purchase.

If I manage to sell all of them then it would be a great side business.

P.S: While i'm new to the import business, how do you deal with the customs and other such headaches?
