Can I register company name?

Can I register a domain such as [company name][product name].com ? It will just put up the specs and reviews and maybe use amazon affiliate on it.

Will this get my website taken down?

I am not sure about your specific situation but this for instance is allowed. It is in Dutch, sorry about that, but you should be able to get the gist of it.

If you are not trying to pose off as the brand product and just give more information about it, I think you should be ok.
Isn't that what disclaimers are used for?

You can do that, but probably it's not the best way to do IM. In many cases you will get a C&D letter.
