I'm with pixelgrinder on this one. phukstar is completely worthless, hollywoodspies could make for a good gossip blog or something, but it's still not much more than registration fee domain in my opinion.

Did he give you any reason why he thinks these are worth more than a couple dollars each? I don't see anything giving them value. I'll buy strange names if the numbers are right but I don't see anything here. Maybe they once had high PR and he recently took a hit? There must be some reason he thinks they're worth something but nothing any of us can find.

Meathead said it, the guy is delusional, nothing more. There's a ton of domainers like this. You got a few different kind of domainers out there, the guys who sell a lot of domains at reasonable prices, and the guys who try and sell a few of their domains for outright ridiculous prices. The problem is a lot of these guys buy a domain like hollywoodspies.com, with some grandiose vision of it being the next perezhilton, tmz or thesuperficial, and suddenly figure it's worth thousands based on it's potential. When the domain itself isn't worth shit.

2k is too much for THESE undeveloped domains. these arent worth anywhere near that much. however there are plenty of undeveloped domains out there that are worth $2k and much much more.
