I have never seen something like this before, so I was just curious what it is and how they got it to show up like this instead of just a standard URL.

Then why is it showing up next to the URL? If it was so normal something similar would be next to each result. Sounds like a vague comment from someone that has no idea himself.

you need a google+ account and to markup the page in a certain way
