This seems to be the most common response, I'll still be setting up more niche sites, also going to be adding Amazon Affiliate to them. But this is a side-side-side-project that I'm interested in, moreso for the experience more than anything.
I'll definitely have to check up on it every few weeks if I don't get it out of the scrapebox then!
I've read about people coming back 6 months later and their site is on page 2.
Just like he say, He did a 5-10k scrapebox blast to it. Must be finish in few minute/hours.
I did the scrapebox to it about 2 days after it was launched, however, I also had it setup with Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools (I hadn't realized that this could lead Google to me, and I still don't know if it did as a lot of people say they actively use both services and their sites are fine.)
My best assumption of my mistake was that I did the blast directly to my domain.
It's just one blast and you got sandboxed? Did you ping the hell out of them? I did my own case study not long ago and I did a 10k blast everyday for 2 weeks and nothing went wrong.
I pinged a bit because I was worried about it not indexing in G WBMSTR Tools. But that was before the SB blast.

I used 3 keywords, but it was a blast straight to my domain.
Buffer sites are the way to go for sure.
Is it something you just did on a whim or have you done this for other sites and its worked before?
It was an accident made by my lack of knowledge on the subject. But at least you learn from your mistakes.
i say give it some time and continue to steadily (emphasis on steadily) build backlinks. with panda on the loose i'd be a little too paranoid to scrapebox blast directly to the site
i do some sb blasts for others and i advise them to do the larger blasts on tier two buffer sites so the money site won't be directly affected. it's also important to build some quality backlinks to the money site as well
By buffer sites you're referring to 'web 2.0', right? Like setting up wordpress.com/blogger.com sites that are linked to mine and throwing articles on them, then blasting those?
what is the previous rankings of your MNS before it was being sandboxed?i can give it a try

Thousands of people will tell you different things to do but i think the time and the work that you have to put in the MNS to save it is too much to establish a new one.
Remember that its true that you can save your MNS but it will take time and during this time your income from that MNS will be Zero. so why don't you start a new MNS????
I'm planning on starting 3 more in the next 2 weeks (just narrowing down on my niches right now) but I also want to try and save this one for the XP.
why would the income have to be zero? that would be the case if the website is only marketed through seo (let's just say it, google) which is a very single minded approach
i think if the site is only sandboxed it can revived with time. there are so many other ways to market the site in the mean time which i believe should be done anyway
why would it make sense to hinge the entire profitability of the site on whether or not google has shined it's light upon you and listed it in their rankings? (rhetorical question. it's obvious what i believe the answer is
)

Just build more natural links and high quality links, update your MNS too. I would recommend high quality social bookmarks too.
I'm still not 100% sure what people mean by Social Bookmarks, but I have 2 more articles I had written for the site that I can do, and I've got a web 2.0 campaign in the works as well.
