All settings are correct, language, country, exact, etc.
Unless the creator has a very sick idea of what's "very easy", something is horribly bugged in the last update.

Are you using proxies? If so, clear the search data and then analyze w/o proxies and compare

It must be a glitch because its judging the competition based on the number of competing pages in Bing which as you can see in that screen shot are all under 50 so naturally it would think that their easy. Have you tried other keywords?

You should always double check the competition by hand anyways - using tools is great way to filter out a lot of keywords but before you go after one always look at it in another tool like Traffic Travis or Market Samurai or even check first page competition by hand. Tools can only do so much it comes down to you to ultimately say this is a good keyword to go after or not.

Ahhhhh I'm loving the changes :D - Plus the brainstorming idea link :) and I love how it says the words instead of the difficulty numbers

Awesome, thanks!

Looks like we still need proxies though...?

The message in the previous version said no more proxies were needed...?

You don't need as many anymore, but proxies are always recommended for the domain checker, and Google Keyword Tool. About 10+ is more than enough.

Not using any proxies.
Did try about everything now, i'll wait for the developer to pop up.

Hey, can you try using some US proxies? Public free ones can work too.

Let me know if that fix the result. I'll also look into it with the programmer.

Problem with international users getting inaccurate results and [err01] error have been fixed!

Please update to v1.4.18.0

Hi Clyde,

Acutally I reported an error which is really not an error (doing traffic stats on a whole bunch of imported keywords by right mouse select). Sorry.

Hi, it seems to be another problem, i'm still getting the exact same results, "very easy" for whatever keyword i analyze, "weightloss" is still "very easy".

All settings are as i have them usually, united states/english/exact.

That would be impossible for me, as i'm dealing with 10.000+ kws per project...the competition analysis is THE core feature for me.
Basicly, my entire project comes to a halt whenever UNF is unavailable, so this bug is "quite annoying" in my case.

Hi, I need to know your real location or IP address. Which country are you querying from? The problem is because when it shows result as 10.200.300, UNF only fetch the first two numbers because it expects it to be 10,200,300 (with a comma).

Also, did you download the latest version?

Just mailed you now, location is Netherlands, and yes i did update.
I haven't really had any issues with the software untill the change now with the competition analysis, unfortunately it's the only module i use.

Clyde, actually the problem is still showing up.

If I import a large number of keywords, and right mouse and try to do "Fetch Search Data" it does not work (sometimes it does). One problem is that it tries to open too many connections to google (what happened to multi-threading option, gone?), then it will cause problems with google. It needs to go through the keywords one at a time (or if it is smart, 100 at a time).

It's weird, it's working fine from my end through a Netherlands VPN.

Replying to your email now.

Hi, it never multithreaded that functionality.

It'll separate the keywords into a block of 800 keywords and do them 800 at a time.

Maybe you have a slow connection?

The difficulty doesn't seem to be working for me either. I just tried the keyword "weight loss" and it comes up as very easy.

After a teamviewer session, it appeared to work fine with a private proxy, but not from my own dutch ip, bing returned different results with different browsers.

So if you run into this issue, use a proxy untill this can be sorted.

I've also PM'ed you suggestions.

Thanks for updating us!

yeah it seems to work, depending on where your proxy is from. it works perfectly fine when I use a usa proxy.

But since i've been using a list of free proxies, I haven't been sorting them out by country.

Good to know it's working now for you!

The bug is with B.ing, I hope they'll fix it soon.
