Just wondering how many do get approach by companies, wanting to place a blog post in their blog, linking back to their own site?

What's the usual rate to charge for a particular period?

Any sites for such rates? Or one shouldn't even consider it as it would increase the number of BL on your site?

Appreciate any comments on this..

Back in the days when PayPerPost and the likes are still popular, i was getting like $300 to $400 for a post on some of my blogs. It depends on your niche and PR at that time. Not too sure about the current rates as i don't do that anymore although occasionally still get contacted by people to do so. I'll be interested to know as well.

Was offered $90 for 6 months. Currently holding a PR3, technology niche, 5.9k fanpage, 3.5k twitter followers.

Should i accept this? Or counter-propose?

Appreciate the advice.

Thanks..

Why not accept it? It won't hurt your site.

What I don't get is why they could want a blogpost for 6 months and not permanently? Ask for 150 and say you won't ever remove it lol.

Sounds like a plan..

Just not sure if this is the market rate..

Personally I would take it, in fact I will offer them a PR 5 domain/PR4 internal page for the same thing, AFTER you make your money, that is. I'll Pay you 25% commission of the first link for the introduction.

90 dollars for 6 months.

That's 15 dollars per month.

On HighPRSociety you can get a PR3 homepage link for 4 bucks per month.

Take the deal.

Try to make it into a paypal subscription so you could potentially be paying your hosting for life.

Cannot compare a 100% paid network to what seems to be a site that doesn't usually allow links out/blog posts on a mass scale.

Dare I say, 1 link on his High PR site is worth more than 1 link on any High PR network.

That being said, get more from them and say it's lifetime!
