shenanigans = poorly disguised sales thread.
The reason this thread got so many views is because it's link bait material. Nothing else. There are no new ideas, just re-packaged old stuff, which belongs on Warrior Forum.
If it's given newbies a few ideas, then great. But, it's not, it's misleading them. Someone who claims to rank a site in a competitive niche by just using a 301 redirect and blog networks clearly doesn't know what they're talking about. Also, his sales links in his OP have been removed, and he's quite clearly promoting services (whether he wants to admit it or not).
Do you not understand that I am NOT the owner of ALN or RankBlasters?
And you are right, I do not know what I am talking about, I simply am randomly ranking for very, very competitive keywords

I implemented this method quite a while back.
I had a new site targeting a 1300 exact search keyword and it had around 10 articles on it. I bought a 10 year old domain, added a 1,000 word article and bought a 10,000 comment blast from BST section.
Once the article was indexed, I added the redirect. Then I started building links to my main site. Blog posts, blog comments, wiki blasts, social bookmarks, forum profiles and made a randomly interlinked web 2.0 pyramid as well. Got all these links blasted with scrapebox. These links were spread over inner pages as well.
Result: The highest my site ranked was around 60...since then it is not in top 1,000. I am still building links and adding content.
The site which I had redirected has gradually got deindexed and doing a google search for site:domain.com gives just one result now which is "domain.com/wp-admin"
Jumping through all these hoops just got my site sandboxed.
You clearly did not implement this method at all, or even close to it.
I have already said to avoid web 2.0, forum profiles, social bookmarks, and interlinking links because they will penalize your site in 2012.
If I'm not mistaken Bobby, you said what's working right now are high PR backlinks right? But I thought I read in this thread that you said social bookmarks is hot right now as well. Maybe I misread it, but I'll try to find that post.

Social bookmarks = penalty.
They use to work very well.
I use to rank within 24 hours on Google's first page, but not anymore.
Stay away from social bookmarks.

Anyone who has ever said, "Too many links is unnatural", does not know what he or she is talking about.
They act like Google indexes all your links at once or in one day.
Link diversity is most likely going to be the next biggest indicator to ranking well along with anchor variations. However, you can still build thousands of backlinks.

You said that you do not recommend high PR article networks... then you recommend ALN, a high PR article network. What's not to get. And not you do not own ALN or Rank Balsters but you do own that crap that you were having people search google for... admit it you liar.
I don't see where Bobby is a "liar". I agree, he is trying to build a list and he is offering valuable information (and has for a long, long time) to "tempt" people into joining his list. I did. His information is good. I don't agree 100% with every word he says, but I don't think that's true with anyone.
I've not seen any evidence that Bobby has been anything but truthful and he's demonstrated that for a long time by giving away great methods for a number of years.
I think he has been upfront with his motives. Provide great information that has worked for him and build his list. Works for me!

de-indexing is mostly comes from:
- using standard wordpress theme
- putting 30+ blogs in the same IP
- submitting the blog to other blog network than ALN
That's why right now we will prohibit any of the ALN blogs
to be submitted to other blog network besides ALN, in the
next few weeks we will be doing some automated clean up so that
each blogs which are breaking this rule will get their
submission points disabled.
We add this rule to make the network stay healthy, for a
full list of ALN rules

Wow man you got a hard on for this guy or what? If you don't believe in the method, or think he's full of it, fine, don't do it then. You're doing nothing but whining now. If the mods thought the thread was that bad don't you think they'd nuke it long before you were whining about it?
ALN and Rankblasters have obviously worked for some people or nobody would have anything good to say about each of them. That's obviously not true. To each his own. Go do what you think works. This guy is doing what he thinks works and he's sharing it with others. Whether it's good or bad advice is for each person to figure out on their own. He isn't making anyone do anything, nor is he offering some service and lying to people about it.
Get over yourself and stop trying to "save" everyone from Bobbylove. We can all judge for ourselves without your whining.
I have just one question: Has anyone been able to successfully rank high using this method other than the OP?
I tried and got sandboxed. The only thing that I did different from his instructions was that I diversified my links instead of just using ALN blog posts.

Well to be honest i tried this method. I was ranking on 1st page 5th position before 310 redirect. Then 2 days ago dropped to 2nd page 1st position. However there is a conclusion, at the same time period i redirected old domain , i bought High PR Network links. As i read from forum there are some people who have lower rankings after high pr network links for the last few week.
So today i decided to terminate 301 redirect and we will see if i will come back to my usual positions. I will post update once there will be change on SERP.

Okay, then you did not follow the steps in the thread correctly.
I advised redirecting to an already old domain, which you used a 1+ year old domain.
I advised against using High PR Society, which gets you penalized, which you used.
