paypal sucks for indians...

Dear Friends,

I have account in State Bank of India,, I had debit card issued by state bank of india,, But as you know paypal don't accept it,, then I applied for State bank of India Golden International visa card,, It's seems like :-

I was happy because I think paypal will accept it.. But when i add my detail i found this:-

Any Indian here to solve my problem,,,

I am not Indian.. And also PayPal donot support my country Buy I had a verified PayPal (BLACK Hat Technique) and have a PayPRoGlobal account to received funds from my clients.

Leave Indian PayPal and create a fake one

The reason why it was rejected is because, you are trying to add a debit card instead of a Credit Card.

Incase you can't get a Credit Card from a bank, make a fix deposit of say 20000 INR and get a credit card with a max limit of 10000 INR and then add the Credit card to paypal.

I guess, Private banks like HDFC/ICICI can issue such Credit Cards to you, can't say about SBI.

This card will not be accepted try SBI young achiever or young star (I dont exactly remember the correct name but its something with young....) that used to work with PP.

Dude just make sure you use Visa credit card not Visa debit card, bank doesn't matter.

Debit cards will not work, you need a credit card.

The easiest way to get a credit card is to get one from ICICI bank through their "Insta-Card" service.

They'll issue a credit card against a small fixed deposit and you'll get it immediately. Works great with paypal, been using it for over a year now.

Make a FD in the bank account and they will give you credit card . This is the simple solution to get a credit card otherwise you need to submit your IT returns and all. Hope this helps.

Paypal accepts ICICI Verified by Visa Debit Card.

I myself am using it. I don't know about other banks but I have an ICICI Visa Debit Card (verified by visa) and I just tried it about a week back and it was accepted by paypal. I can pay via my debit card too.

Try it out.

And I would suggest removing your Debit card screenshot from the opening post to be on the safer side.

Well, here is what I would have done, if I was in your place.

I would call the customer service number at the back of the card:
Ask them if they can give me a credit card (so that i dont need to switch banks altogether)

If they say, they can't I would ask them if they can give me a Credit card, if I deposited money with them in a FD.

If still now, I would go to the ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank website and call the customer service number and ask them if they can provide me a Credit Card, if I deposit money with them. I would also ask them how much is the minimum for getting a Credit Card from each bank.

That would sum it all, I guess.

actually paypal sucks for everyone.
try use VCC (Virtual Credit Card).
Cost may vary but it should be less than 10 usd.

And for receiving money do i need to have an account on the same bank, as I,ve talked to my local axis bank center and they said they will issue credit card and there's no need to create my bank account there. So I was wondering if i have a bank account of SBI and a credit card of axis bank will that work for both receiving and paying money via Paypal. Sorry If i sound completely noob here..
