Forums + PPD

Yo Yo Yo,

I have set myself up a little forum and have got some promotion on YT and people are already heading on over to the forum to sign up and check it out!

Great.

Now, I am currently dealing with a sports/entertainment show which is copyrighted, as people are willing to head over to a forum and sign up, I am assuming they will be willing to complete a survey from a PPD site...the only question is...which one will:

i) Ignore the copyright
ii) Allow 2GB files
iii) Payout?!?

OR

Do you kind people think that maybe having a donate button might generate more?

AND

Finally, if I dont host a file through a PPD site, how can I allow people to download it?

Hello buddy ,

If you're doing a sport / entertainment show , I would definetly suggest you CPA (Content Locker being more exact).
The idea about monetizing it through PPD isn't that bad but I'm pretty sure that Content Locking would be the best most adequate way of monetizing it

About allowing them to download it .. Hmm , don't really have any idea about a specific website since I didnt have to deal with the same thing before but I'm pretty sure there are video hosting sites where you can upload the video then embedd it on your website and when they play it , they can see the buttons such as Play, Pause & Download.

A specific example was MegaVideo (which as we know is closed by authorities now).

I have seen that FileDeposit offer all the things I am asking..but wonder if they are going to "cut me off" if they find my files aren't exactly owned by me!

Also, how would you CPA a forum...?

Use a Content Getaway on the thread you want to lock.

Have thought about a different way to monatise...password protect thread with the golden info in, place download link for password on FileIce. No copyright material stored!
