Confused by Web 2.0 and Social Bookmarking.

Hey all,

I run about 10 sites, earning around $200 a month, but not doing well in the SERPS. Most of it comes from YouTube.

I own Scrapebox and NoHandsSEO. I really want to get into link building better than smashing NoHandsSEO and SB Blasts on my main sites. The concept of Web 2.0 and Social Bookmarks confuses me. I've never used them before and don't quite get exactly "What to do" to build the links.

I've seen Wordpress, Blog.com etc all being Web 2.0 Sites, but what do you do exactly? Write an article on a new blog with a link to your main sites? Just create an account with a backlink to your site?

If anyone could be a bit more descriptive in exactly what you do to build Web 2.0 links, i'd greatly appreciate it.

As for Social Bookmarking, is that just submissions to Social Bookmarking Sites and irrelevant of the amount of likes, +1's or Diggs (Just examples here) that it gets? Thanks!

You Build web 2.0s by posting articles which include links to your money site on various web 2.0 platforms . They are valuable because they allow you to get anchored in-content links. Having said that, your web 2.0s won't do shit for your site if you don't do something to boost their power.That's where scrapebox and other mass tools come in.

Aha. So it works practically the same way as submitting to article directories? With of course, the exception that you're doing it on a new blog, rather than an existing directory?

Yes, but article directories do not allow you to put anchored link in the text body. Plus,you can add videos and pictures to your web 2.0's.

look your tier 1 has to be quality,
so make web 2s manually, fill their profiles, post quality and unique article to them. i'd also use top 6 article directories as my tier 1, again quality and unique content there.

then blast these with comments/profiles. take these links to linklicious to get them crawled. I also make high PR d0f0ll0w manual blog comment to my money page, as well as web 2.0s. hope that helps

Always wondered about this. Why when in theory no one will see your web2.0 would you put pictures or videos on them. Does it pass good link juice?

to make your web 2.0 properties look more legitimate, so that they won't be shut down.

yes it passes juice, and also, it makes it look more LEGIT when your Web 2.0 is manually reviewed by the people who own the domain so they won't delete your page. this will make your links stick. treat your web 2.0's like your money site and you will see a big difference.

no they don't have to be 100% unique. 75-80%, but I do 100. Especially for high paying clients.
