site blocked by hosting provider!!!!

hey guys...

i m working on a client's site which was blocked by hosting provider as the bandwidth exceeds.. and now the site is not working

i already got very good ranking for my targeted keywords in google but now as the site is blocked (Error 403: Forbidden) since last 24hrs!!! and i m unable to do changes in sites via FTP or cPenal/admin!! as its' shows me error of access denied

so i want to knw that does it harm my current ranking?

is there any other ways to know google to not to crwl my site or not stop for some times???

guys i need this solution very soon as i don't wont to lost my 4 months of hard work to get ranking!! plz let me know wht to do next?

If Gbot rolls around while the site is down you will probably see a dip in the rankings or drop out of the serps temporarily, but you should get your rankings back once the site goes up again and gets re-spidered. But anything can happen so it's always best to keep your sites up 24/7/365.

Unless the site is on a high end VPS there are plenty of ways to get more bandwidth without jumping to a dedicated box.

There is no way around the problem other than getting more bandwidth. It is very simple. Site is down for an extended time the rankings will drop. It is not rocket science.

the big g hates, absolutely hates, sites that have slow response or downtime, you will be struggling with a penalty for a while if they spider during that time (i'm currently trying to rebuild someone's rank for that same issue) easy solution, set up a temporary hosting acct, put up a placeholder that is optimized for the right keywords, and change the domain's a record to point at it until the bandwidth issue is corrected

This happened with me in last week one of my high performing site gone down because of bandwidth exceeds. then i immediately contacted to my hosting admin and bought extra bandwidth which was cheap like 5$ for 100GB. it was down for 4-6 hours and a PR4 site and there was no ranking changes for my keywords.. i was lucky... better you buy extra bandwidth immedietly..

if you are using shared hosting, simply contact the hosting provider and let them know that you wish to upgrade your plan to the next level. Your site should be up within hours after you upgrade.

mate i already told the site owner to buy it but the owner is not able to understand the seriousness of this issue..
