Too many links?

I posted two comments on a blog a while ago, both with links back to my site (of course). But now when I go into Google Webmaster Tools, it says there are over 1000 backlinks from that domain!

Could this suspiciously-large number of links from a single domain hurt me in the rankings?

It's most likely because the blog has a "recent comments widget". That means that a while after you've posted your comment it will be displayed site-wide.

Also, no it won't hurt ya...

i don't know exactly why it happens but i have also faced this thing. in web master tool i always search for the domain links.not page links. these are the real links that are counted by Google.

I think you should take help of good sites like backlinksindexer for indexing link.
