what if I just want extra RAM on the cheapest plan?
Do you install Windows for me for free? Do you have antivirus out of the box on the VPS? If you don't have antivirus out of the box, then which free antivirus would you recommend?
Is it the latest version of Windows Server 2008 R2?
And can this windows self update automatically without rebooting?

Windows comes with the VPS, I can install 2008 R2 If you want that version. I don't have any antivirus you need to install that on the server yourself. I know a few people using Windows defender or AVG (you need to pay for AVG)
Windows automatically rebooting is a option in Windows update. You can edit what setting you want
"Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" option would be best, then after you manually install you can reboot

Is the Microsoft Security Essentials free for Windows Server 2008?
Please someone recommend a good, FREE antivirus for Windows Server, which does real time scan!
And I have a problem with your billing system. All I can see on the invoice is this: "Hostamus Webhosting" It is not a valid invoice without and address, and also Hostamus Webhosting must be your personal name or business name if you enter it on the invoice. Please consult with your accountant.
May I ask you where are you from? Is this invoice format valid in your country?
My accountant needs an invoice from your which is valid in your country. Bottom line, I need your personal name and address, or business name and address to appear on the invoice.
And why don't you display your company name, address and phone number on the website? All the trusted websites display these informations. You even hide your whois info. Do you have something to hide?

i have been using a vps from you for a few months to run all my seo tools now and am more than happy with the service
i was now wondering if you will be offering a reseller server deal sometime soon, as i have quite a few sites i am planning (not large just some MNS ) i would like to host myself, and it also would give me the chance to offer some hosting to some friends and of course to the occasional client.

Ahhh, and I've heard that you've been providing some tools too! Was that a deal you stopped offering or are those tools still available? Would love to expand my arsenal if possible.

I will be adding reseller hosting soon for web hosting however I haven't really thought about it too much with VPS servers.

I just wanted to let y'all know that I had a great experience with Hostamus VPS.
I'm cancelling my account today because I'm giving up on SEO after 2 years of trying and I'm going to concentrate on PPC so I'm no longer in need of a VPS at the moment. But if I need one in the future I would definitely use Hostamus again.
I'm posting this because this is a very valuable forum and I'm glad I found it (I've learned a lot!) so hopefully this is a small way to give back to the community by posting my experience with Hostamus.

I am really mad. I wanted to order your VPS service, but using my business credit card. Apparently you don't want or don't know how to issue a valid invoice for a business who bought a service from you.
So you don't have a business, not even a tax registration number. Fine, then why not use a reseller service like Plimus.com? Plimus.com is perfect for sellers who don't have a business, because Plimus will issue invoices on your behalf.
A valid invoice has a lot of info on it, such as:
The seller's name
the seller's tax ID/registration ID
The seller's address
The buyer's name
The buyer's address
The name of the service
Date and amount of purchase
Invoice ID
Paypal doesn't generate valid invoices.
If you don't know how to issue an invoice please sign up at Plimus or at a similar reseller service who issue invoices on your behalf.
