What are the contextual links? Do they stay on the home-page permanently?

Blogroll links are the only ones that stay on the front page and only if you continue with your subscription. There's a max of 15 blogroll links per blog.

Links in articles will roll of the front page in time. As will blog comments

Check your dashboard panel, contextual links are a new feature on a monthly subscription, different from articles. They're more expensive than blogroll links as well.

P.S. blogroll links aren't only on the front page, they're throughout the websites

Will you guy's be doing any modification to the design of the pages? My main concerns are the pages with links very close to the color of the background.

We will constantly be updating the "Look" of the network, although some colors may appear close to the human eye, none of them match and have at least 40% difference in between every color value.

In addition, every CSS class has been randomized and the positioning of HTML has been randomized to an extent as well. So although it may not look visually appealing, the color scheme doesn't not break any of Googles rules and does not constitute as "cloaking".

We will be tweaking the algorithm to minimize this occurrence but its almost impossible to completely fix it on every single website. Thanks again though and let me know if you have any other questions.

Instructions: Contextual links are homepage links with contextual content that surround it, therefore making it more valuable. All your need to do is, write a few sentences that relate to your keyword and link it to your URL. In this example, "BJJ" would be your keyword. After writing your contextual sentence or sentences, highlight your keyword and click the "link" icon and enter the URL that your ranking for that keyword.

When will you have homepage PR 5 and PR6 links in the Business - Finance category?

We add them as we acquire them, PR updates will sometimes drop PR's from PR5 to PR4 or sometimes make PR5's rise to PR6's. Some times people delete their links and more become available some times we buy them when we find them. Just depends.

I did look for information on it on the website but it either doesn't exist or I completely missed it.

Been meaning to check this out I setup a few homepage links using this service, and I can't say I'm impressed.

The first site, was about computer security software. The slogan is "Secure your computer and keep it private with our software.". The site is a PR2, I tried a few PR2 and PR4 sites.

The blog posts on the site are:

Spouse Cheating
Some german article about websites
Quibids Review
LED Signs
Super Affiliate
Houston Plumbing
Buying a House in New Zealand
Getting a loan against your Invoices
Free Credit Report

Then you come to the look of the site:

I tried a few homepage links, and they all were around the same thing.

I also remember when the site was opened, for many months there was something like 4,000 blogs on 2-3 class C networks. The links I got were all unique class C's, but they were in the same Class B range, so they are not that far from each other and I'm guessing a majority of them are the same data center.

What matters is if your ranking improves or not. What it looks like and what the content is is irrelevant. It's a blog spam network that is for search engine bots only, not real visitors. If your rankings improve, great. If not, move on and find another network. And let us know

something you need to be mindful of is google has cracked down on a lot of homepage link networks recently ( I have personally seen sites deindexed as a result of this).

I make good use of linklicious, so have recently subscribed to this service so will post back some results soon.

Your sites or the blog network sites deindexed.

Yep blog networks will keep getting found and deindexed. It's part of the game. I'm sure if Google put their minds to it they can find out a lot of the networks easily enough. But every time they find one and deindex it, another one is started and so the merry go round continues.

Actually, I couldn't give a shit that it is pink, what I do care about is that the background is font is very hard to read due to matching the background, this is something that will flag the site at some point.

Also, the content is all over the place and not even in English many of the times. The site is about computer security, and there is articles about cheating on your wife.

In a nutshell, there are so many footprints of automation and spam that I don't see it passing any authority or page rank, at least not for long.

We'll tweak the site hosting templates sometime soon. But if you look at the underlying HTML it's totally spun including unique CSS per site. The privacy policy is spun, the number of articles per day is spun. There is a visual footprint that a manual reviewer will easily spot - but not a computer.

As all of us know, a manual reviewer would nuke any splog/network site. That's how BMR probably got hit and all of their sites had "high quality content" and more unique design.

In a nutshell, there are so many footprints of automation and spam that I don't see it passing any authority or page rank, at least not for long.

The network has been up for 6 months and done well as seen by success stories here. Will it ultimately lose some sites? Probably at some point.


To be blunt, 5 networks have gotten nuked in the past 2 weeks. We don't want to be wrapped up in that mess, so we'll be updating the thread tomorrow or Wednesday with our approach.
