Outsourcing

I have tried all the main outsourcing sites - elance, guru, odesk . . .

And I have some luck outsourcing various jobs, however 90% of the time, the quality is low and the contractors are total shit.

I'm really looking to build an online team and can pay a very good rate and do work they enjoy / specialise in.

Can anybody provide any insight on where to go to find such freelancers, or am I right in saying the quality reliable people are taken?

Depends on what you're really looking for. You can't be paying peanuts and expecting to get a quality job done.

What kind of people you want sir? I am a freelancer and do mostly data entry related jobs like doing copy paste jobs, editing some files, researching, account creations, basic linkbuilding like forum profile links, posts, comments, etc.. youtube stuff, twitter stuff and anything that don't need coding, writing articles and technical stuff needed..

And I have a team doing the same stuff that what I am doing..

Finding quality people to outsource to is hard. I got burned a few times in the past so I can't help you there. I now have my own team that I recruited and trained locally.

It's not easy indeed. If it's not an issue let us know here what you'd be looking for more specifically and I might be able to come up with a few suggestions.
I'd just say sites like Odesk, Elance, etc. are getting flooded already and it's getting harder and harder to find decent employees at a reasonable price.

Hy...I've just read your thread, and I had the same issues in the past. Many "workers" get greedy and want to get double the money for the work that they have done for the half, until now.

What I did is, I quit my project, because I had more outcome then income in it, and I switched to be a freelancer myself.

I have some gigs on fiverr and it really pays off. But when someone or even myself needs some work to be done, then I do it myself/for them.

So basicly what I want to tell you is, if you really need a good contractor/freelancer then contact me. If anything else, I can finish some work for you - in the end that's what you count on. I get paid and you get your work done.

1. Get a local team
2. Get an office or appartment
3. Make working hours from 9-5
4. Watch them work !
5. Pay good and if something goes wrong, be the Boss.

The fourth part is the most important, it improves efficiency.

I don't know where you're from, but think out of the box here, local doesn't mean in your area or across the street. If you can, go into a country where the prices are low and where you could get good workers. Get info's, prices of offices, appartments, law regulations and so on. If you have all things toghether, place ads in the local newspaper for aplicants. Get some results by giving test work. is everything o.k. rent the office or appartment for 3 months, make working hours, pay on time... thats it.
