Is tumblr a web2.0?

Hey guys just wondering if Tumblr is classed as a web2.0?

Cause I know people are writing content for web2.0s and then linkignthem to there money site? Can I do this with tumblr?

Yes but from my experience it's the not the best. When I create web 2.0 to do exactly what you just said tumblr is often the first account to get closed.

I prefer wordpress, webbly, insane journal, blog.com.

There are many places where you can create blog accounts to send link to your websites that will last longer than tumblr.
