GP - Not Appearing in Results After Activation

Hey Guys,

We are looking to offer GP Submission to our clients, we thought we should have our own company listed first, if nothing else to give us experience.

We submitted our details a few weeks ago and then last Wednesday we got the postcard with our activation number. We entered this and added some more images/videos and made sure the profile was completed 100%

However 8 days later we are still not appearing for any of our KW's in our city.

Status is showing as Active

NB We are UK based and searching on Google.co.uk

We have added our listing to numerous 20+ UK citation sites and are actually showing up on page 1 for several of our KW's from our listing with Qype - but nothign at all on Google Place itself

How long does it normally take to appear to the rankings ?

GP is very slow moving and it takes a while for your listing to fully integrate. They are making a lot of changes lately and this also may slow things down for us. You should usually see your listing showing after a couple of days and it usually will not show the whole listing, it might have some pictures, videos, and usually the description not showing up. Then from there it usually takes me about a month before I see results and full integration.

How has your listing come along? Has it appeared on GP yet?

It took 5 weeks for our client to show on Places (UK also) so it takes time. just continue with the citations etc to boost it when it does appear.

Certainly takes some time for my clients as well...just don't let it falter your efforts in marketing the Google Places...it'll come up
