Agreed - this is a very dicey space. Finding an SMSC, etc. who'll tolerate a bunch of complaints is tough - and w/out tested data, it's typically not cost effective to send in bulk.

That said - I send loads of SMS w/ click to call upsells - but the SMS's are all opt'd in - I take CELL ONLY as a reg format for a content locker - works ok - and since they are permissioned - my provider tolerates backlash from the few people who complain about clicking a link after the clicked a link to look at pr0n ;)

You can sale the database for a reasonable amount at DP and other forums. You can also sale the numbers list in parts at fiverr.
 
Make a JV with the guy who wanted a Robbocalling machine :D .That would be so fucking epic :D
 
Make a JV with yourself, drop the guy a PM and chat with yourself on skype. $Profit$ You could chop the numbers into sections and sell on fiver, but that may be strenuous.If you don't want to sell them anywhere or mass text them, they will just collect virtual dust.
 
Meh, when someone says fiverr and making money, somehow I don't register that with making actual money.
 
Do you know those funny pictures that you get from friends that are always forwarded by 4-5 people?What about sending an imagetwist link and asking them to opt-in to receive funny pictures or picures of the niche that they opted into?
 
I have a huge network of sms gateways with configurable numbers and send rate, let me know if you need someone to facilliatate sending!
 
dont know how you got 250 million considering most of the data list companies out there have far less including myself. if you dont have any sourcing info they are worthless. if you have name and postal then you have a shot selling them to call centers
