I've put together a quick chart showing my understanding of SEO. Although I've been doing IM for a few years now (selling products), my understanding of SEO is very limited.

Does this chart represent a good workflow? Would you add or change anything? It'd be great to receive any help and suggestions that could further enhance this work flow.

In the chart, everything flows towards the Money Site. Where possible I have used a block to illustrate some of the tools or services necessary (such as Scrapebox and proxies).

Any and all advice is really welcome!! :)

I woul dget some high PR Links pointing to your site.

Linkpushes as well.

u need more high quality/diverse links in there m8.

;)

If I read your chart correctly then you are planning to use scrapebox directly on you money site? Big no-no... use a buffer like web 2.0 or something, then do some mannual comments straight to your money site on a couple of the high pr blogs you scraped to get the link diversity you want. This way you still have the benefits of all out scrapebox blasting but you avoid the spammy comment profile for your moneysite. Good luck!

Why would you not SB your main site? Surely it just depends on how fast the search engine indexes those links? The search engine will never know when they were posted as I'm sure it doesn't gather that information.

I would add the following directly to the money site

1. 15 to 20 top article directories
2. 10 to 15 edu n gov comment links
3. Depending on the competition of the niche, would go for a blog network (UAW,BMR etc). This would help in link diversity.
4. Link pushes to the web2.0s

And will blast all the links in the Tier#1 with hundreds of article directories links and bookmarks.

Basically it's all about the competition of the niche...But it's always better to build links from a variety of sources and platforms. Which gives a more natural look to link building.

It's purely my view after analyzing many seo strategies...

i would suggest:
- link to pages inside your money site as well as your money site
- use scrapbox to find good quality relevant blogs to make manual posts on, and for blasting the other backlinks you set up
- press releases for main site / new developments
- a few {good|decenet|better than auto gen content} quality web 2.0 / article sites, and scrapbox / mass backlink those as well

Which looks more thrustworthy:

1) site with only really good links from things like wikipedia, dmoz etc.
2)site with the same ammount of links, but only from crappy blogcomment on pages filled with porn/viagra links?

I'm not saying NEVER do it, I just wanted to point out that there is a weakness in the chart that can be improved.

people are under estimating article directories and not blasting it to money site,I like AMR dripping 150 articles per day for a week or 10 day and then just blast those live links that you have with SB or Xrumer. 1st you get link diversity and create another tier or links to your site.
Same goes with social bookmarks. Maintain velocity and you will see great results, just dont forget to Xrumer them and accounts. I think you have heard about SBB's and how affective it was and still is,but not as much as it used to be thou

In addition to this you have to add more unique content and do article directory submission also.

Private blog networks - spun and unique content networks
Contextual Homepage Links
Blogroll Links

I find blog networks and homepage links to be much more effective these days.

There's a lot more to SEO than a nicely colored diagram. Is not just about the possible link sources it is also about the content, velocity and a bunch of other things.

Great advice thank you! One further question to this, how many Tiers do you recommend using?

I don't know why I didn't think of manual commenting, thanks! Does the anchor text need to be relevant to my niche? Reason I ask is that often blogs won't approve comments with keywords in the name field...

These might be newbie questions - but can you tell me where I can find more info on AMR dripping and SBBs?

either outsource AMR service at fiverr or buy one gig and create your own list for AMR=article marketing service. SBB is service that River are offering, check google cause I think its not allowed to post url's with other forum service. Develop link building strategy you think will work and plug it into BLG or use fiverr for that matter. SEO changes so results will be different with knowledge of your own and how to use it.

Scrapebox to the money site is an awful thing to do.

You need to have atleast 3 tiers, then you can afford to SB the 3rd.

So that means:

Money Site <- Web 2.0 <- Article Directories <- Web 2.0 (SB) <- Article Directories (SB)

That's just a simple bueprint. You need to mix in some diversity or Panda will catch up to you.

This is true if you only do SB to your money site, but imo its not if you are trying to have link + URL diversity, also people claim that Xrumer to money site is bad thing to do. In right dosses it works and gives results up to a certain point. I agree that if you blast 25k and ping your urls, you will get slapped for that, this is just common sense. Drip feeding is the key to do everything safely and avoiding penalties for that.

Print it out, stick it up on your wall. Best infographic I have seen.

I disagree. I think it looks unnatural to have ONLY quality links pointing to your site. What are the odds of every quality site wanting to link to yours while none of the less significant ones wanting to do so? A few scrapebox links here and there will make it look far more natural, and it can help to diversify your anchor text too.

Hey mate,

I recommend having two tiers.

Tier#1

10 to 15 article submissions
web2.0s
social bookmarks
edu/gov links
Press release submissions
Blog Network

Tier#2

Hundreds of article submissions to the Tier#1 Urls
Hundreds of social bookmarks linking to the Tier#1 Urls
Forum profile links to the Tier#1 Urls

Final step: Indexing every Url from the above Tiers
Rss Submissions
Pinging etc.
