Need example of making ONE web 2.0 link

hey guys i have always wondered what people mean by making high PR web 2.0 links

can any one give me a example of how to make 1 simple web 2.0 link?

Register for sites like Blogger.com, Wordpress.com, Hubpages.com etc.

Flesh out the profile and put some content on the site (original will have a better chance of sticking in the long haul, but that takes time). In the text of your post(s) insert a link with your keyword as your anchor text:

<a href="http://yoursite.com">Your Keyword</a>

Just put one or two links to your site in the text and consider linking one of your links to an inner page and one to the root domain.

ive been a bit confused on 2.0's recently, tried searching but cant seem to find the theads (that im sure exist) that answers my question.

why does the PR of the site matter (ie tumblr.com) when new blogs are pr n/a?

Does the sites PR somehow filter down into individual blogs? I cant seem to find ways that this would happen / links to make this happen.

I don't think the actual PR of the domain really matters, actually - only the actual page the link is placed on.

Good PR on the root means more link juice will flow down.... so they say, obviously, all your web 2.0's are going to be N/A...... I just throw them on any old 2.0 thats available It's up to you to link your web 2.0 and give it some PR/juice.

Thats what i thought originally.

But i saw a thread about making typepad blogs yesterday (because the root is pr8) and asked the same question in that thread and got told to do some more research on understanding 2.0's

i came back empty handed and still cant seem to find an answer.

Yup thats what ive been doing too - see my post above for the reason i ask, i cant see any reason why the root pr would be passed to the 2.0pr (unless there is some kind of featured / new blogs thing on a home page of the root - which seems unreasonable to factor into a campaign strategy)
