First, I want you to know that this guide I have made is not coming from someone who is new in article writing/spinning and have just decided to try all the software available. This is coming from someone who has a successful article spinning service (Ultra Articles) that seek to always find better ways to upgrade our products and this includes improving our products by continually researching.
There are different levels when it comes to spinning: article (including rewriting and adding variations), paragraph (including varying paragraphs), sentence (including varying sentences), word (including light, medium and heavy as well as nested spinning). I will post a different article about this.
Grading The First Set of Stars (5)
For scoring, I would give a star for any specialized feature that a software has that is listed above. For example: If spinner A only can do word spinning, he only gets 1 star out of 5 possible stars.
Grading The Second Set of Stars (5)
This grade is dedicated for how clean and how efficient the spinner is in suggesting synonyms. Is it able to understand the context of the sentence? Is it able to give you good or at least average grammar? Does it understand the basic concept of subject-verb agreement?
NOTE: This article/post will continually be updated in a monthly basis (God-willing in terms of availability of my time).
Bonus Points
Bonus points are given for article spinners who has a feature that no other software has.
Overall Score
To give you an easier time in knowing the scores of each software easily, I will put the overall score beside the name. The { set 1 of stars| set 2 of stars } indicate how the overall score is achieved based from the two sets of stars.
LET THE SCORING BEGIN!
I. Site-Based
a. Free Article Spinner (FREE) - 2 / 10 { 1 | 1 }
http://www.freearticlespinner.com
Pros:
• Easy to use
• One-click rewrite
• Easy accessibility, just sign up and you can start spinning
Cons:
• Garbage spinning - doesn't even understand the context of the sentences. It just blindly synonym spins.
• Lacking levels in spinning. It only rewrites with a click of a button.
Comments:
You basically click one button and you get... garbage. You can't control what it will spin and how risky it will go. Do not waste your time on this.
b. Spin Profit (FREE) - 2 / 10 { 1 | 1 }
http://spinprofit.com
Pros:
• It has separate boxes for the parts of the article (body, resource box, title etc.)
• Easy accessibility, just sign up and you can start spinning
• List of synonyms is extensive although all are mixed whether nouns or verbs
Cons:
• Super manual spinning - by super manual spinning, I mean you have to copy and paste each word into the thesaurus built in the right hand corner and manually pick out the synonyms and THEN manually copy and paste the spintax into the body of the article.
• Does not recommend good synonyms. It simply gives you all the synonyms.
Comments:
When we want to spin, we want to save time. That is one of the most important things to consider. However, in this case, it is somewhat like an article spinner that is only good for those who have the time to manually click each synonym on the right hand corner and then worry yourself by getting the spintax from the top panel and pasting it on the body; very tedious.
c. JetSpinner/JetSubmitter (FREE) - 4 / 10 { 1 | 3 }
http://www.jetspinner.com
Pros:
• Interface is simple to understand.
• List of synonyms is extensive although all are mixed whether nouns or verbs.
Cons:
• Some synonyms are not even proper English words. (ex. The 3rd best synonym of thanks is TY.)
• Cannot mass replace the words inside the Jetspinner. You must use it with notepad to make things easier. This means you manually have to type in hundreds of spin brackets and bar lines.
• To start spinning, you must create the spin brackets and bar lines first using notepad.
c. Easy Article Spinner (FREE) - 2 / 10 { 1 | 1 }
http://easyarticlespinner.net/
Pros:
• Let you produce multiple outputs.
• Focuses on sentence spinning.
Cons:
• No word spinning.
d. Spin Rewriter ($27/mo - $197/mo (currently in a 50% discount promo)) - 7 / 10 { 2 | 4 | + 1 }
http://www.spinrewriter.com/
Pros:
• Almost always understands the context of the sentences.
• Focuses on sentence spinning.
• Best among all spinners when it comes to analysing the subject-verb agreement as well as auto-fixing the proper usage of articles (a, an, the) (+1)
Cons:
• Only word spinning.
• Quite a hassle to edit some misspellings midway the word spinning process because you have to unlock the editor first and then lock it again.
• Some synonym groups include a wrong word or two even in the most safest option when auto-rewriting with one click.
Comment:
Honestly, when I started using the software, I immediately became a spammer because I keep sending them messages about each synonym groups that I was opposed to. Their synonyms are great but I dislike the fact that a word or two is joined in there which is completely wrong. Overall, it has much potential. I don't use because I strongly prefer my manually built synonyms which I run through The Best Spinner but I leave the option of using this in the future because updates and improvements are continually made on the Spin Rewriter which makes it possible for them to exceed my manually made list of synonyms.
II. Software
a. Article Tool Chest - 0 / 10
http://www.articletoolchest.com/
Comments:
Description of this tool as well as the website is VERY misleading. First the site says it is free. The video says it is free. When you sign up, it says you will get the tool for free. But it is actually paid. Fail. I didn't even bother to put the pros and cons or test it out since looking at the video, all it simply does it spin your article into duplicity. It doesn't even care about uniqueness because it simply makes multiple copies.
b. Easy Article Rewriter PRO ($27) - 3 / 10 { 2 | 0 | +1 }
http://www.easy-article-rewriter.com/
Pros:
• Has a feature that focuses on sentence spinning.
• LSI analysis that is built in the software in order to keep you aware of keyword stuffing as well as keyword optimizing your content. (+1)
Cons:
• No word spinning.
Comments:
I actually like the part where you can focus in on sentence spinning because automated word spinning nowadays is not to be trusted. However, not having that feature also rises up the need to pay for a different spinning software.
c. The Best Spinner ($47 - $77 (depending if there is a discount code)) - 9 / 10 { 5 | 3 | +1 }
http://www.thebestspinner.com/
Pros:
• Can easily spin in any level (article, paragraph, sentence, word).
• Has an auto rewrite feature.
• Can use the ready-made favorites of TBS.
• Can easily change the spin formats to use in different networks or platforms.
• Many features to make your content even more unique (removing orig words, spinning together etc.)
• Has a forum
• Has a grammar checker
• Super Spinner (+1)
Cons:
• There have been issues wherein the software disregards spinning some big chunks of the paragraph and you have to manually spin them for unknown reasons.
• Some synonyms are simply foolish to even use.
• The Best Spinner, I think, does not have a team where they update the favorites or at least control the words being put in the favorites.
Comments:
Overall, The Best Spinner is still one of the best spinner, if not, the best spinner. Ultra Articles (my company) mainly uses this for sentence spinning and word spinning. Although the word spins are horrendous, we use our own list of saved synonyms in order to get at least 90% correct synonyms which we will simply go through and correct minimally.
d. Spin Chimp PRO ($25/mo (+$15 after every 3 months) -$127 one-time fee) - 9 / 10 { 4 | 4 | +1 }
http://spinchimp.com
Pros:
• Has a good list of synonyms
• Word density checker
• Can easily change the spin formats to use in different networks or platforms.
• Has a similarity checker
• Can LETTER spin (using ASCII codes) but this is risky, still, a good addition. (+1)
Cons:
• Unable to personalize spinner by letting you save your own synonyms while taking out the other synonyms in the list.
• Unable to save a list of protected keywords. You have to manually protect the words every time you open a new file.
Comments:
Spin Chimp is surprisingly good especially given the fact that they have been flying under the radar because most people are talking about Spinner Chief and The Best Spinner. Honestly, Spin Chimp is easier to use but the only drawback is the fact that you can't personalize (see the cons) it unlike in TBS. However, if I have lost all my subscriptions for all spinners and have to pick one, I would seriously include Spin Chimp as one of my best choices.
e. Spinner Chief ELITE ($147/yr + $19 per succeeding year after 2nd year) - 8 / 10 { 4 | 4 }
http://www.spinnerchief.com/
Pros:
• Has a good list of synonyms
• Synonyms are continually updated because of the Cloud Thesaurus Version.
Cons:
• Horrible interface. Although this is subjective, still, it's definitely horrible.
• Auto rewriting feature is horrible. (Same as TBS, if not, worse)
• They keep telling you to UPGRADE (when you are using the free version).
Comments:
Spinner Chief is good and it can be considered as one of the top 3 article spinning software available. The awesome thing about them is that they have a free version. What I don't like about them is they make it impossible for people who are using the free version to enjoy the basic functions without getting a notice that they should upgrade.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Free Version - Spin Chimp
Word spinning - Spin Rewriter
Sentence Spinning - The Best Spinner (because of Super Spinner)
All-in-one Spinner - Spinner Chief ELITE or The Best Spinner
Before you reply, these observations are simply opinions from one who have made article spinning as one of my main sources of income. So before you become angry because I have given your favorite spinner a low score, I want to remind you that all these are opinionated.
