So, I received an email from the wife of the late Engr. Nasser Mahamat, PhD. And she wants to donate money to me!!! Here's the email.

Dear Friend

I am Mrs.Fatimah Mahamat, a Muslim woman who was married to Late Engr. Nasser Mahamat {PhD} who worked with MULTINATIONAL OIL COMPANY EXXON AS A DRILLING RIG SUPPLIER in Kuwait for 19 years before he died on the 31st July 2000. Before his death, he deposited some amount with a bank In Asia.

Recently, my Doctor told me that I would not last for the next eight months due to cancer problem. Having known my condition, I decided to donate this fund to a Charity organization or good person that will utilize this money in good faith by setting up a charity organisation.

I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and I kept this deposit secret till date, this is why I am taking this decision. Upon your reply I shall give you the contact of the bank. I will also issue a letter of authorization to the bank that will prove you as the present beneficiary of this money. Although I was a very successful car salesman, and i've sold people accessories for their cars FAR ABOVE the actual cost (Sold a set of rims on a new Tribeca for $8300 installed, when it only cost the dealership $500)..

But i don't think I could ever blatantly steal from someones bank account.

I've played around with these people before, and gave them an account I no longer used.

2 days after replying, I got a phone call from my bank that within the last 30 minutes, there were multiple charges of $5 a piece totalling up to $50,000 trying to pull from my bank account. All from different sources.

I personally would call that stealing.

Mike is most likely a victim of phishing or a virus which allowed them access to his email account, thus giving them a hire rate of inboxing. I don't think you should blame Mike.

Haha, thanks for bringing this up because I received months ago an email like this.

It has a picture, a story and a very tragic loss of a father too -- including some leftover money stripped away somewhere which she can't easily get but needs my help.

It's kind of amusing how people can go this far just to get money. Although sad at the same time.
