Nothing really, apart from this script is very easy to use and can be added to any page. If you have an existing site with traffic, or want to create your own custom page, you can easily include this script to fit in with your current method.

The other scripts tend to be based around a pre-developed page and can be awkward to modify.

Also, current scripts that are floating about leave footprints that Facebook can track. If you obfuscate the Javascript it's difficult for Facebook to know what you're doing without manually checking.

It's just a simpler solution.

Yeah you can. When you create the html for the popup, just give it the ID of the button that's in the popup.

As already mentioned by Stella it is strongly recommended to obfuscate the JS file. The chance that the likejacking function will stay longer alive is much higher. You'll find some useful information about that here:
