Im gonna probally sound like a right nooby tosser here but surely to host a small wix site on your own domain cant you just..
View page source from your saved wix site..
Copy and save it into notepad as whatever.html..
then upload it to your own domain via filezilla??
Why cant you just do that?

Guys I'm going to try and make this work, I already made a few websites and will start the client hunting next week.
There's only a little thing I'm worrying about,
How can I give my client a sample of how his site will look?
I don't mind paying the 10$ per month since I will let the client make up for it, but the only thing bothering me is a sample.

Just save the wix page as an image (prnt screen) and replace the logo with "your business title here" or something to that effect, send it to your client ask them what they think and boom! bring home the dough.

Hey this may seem like a noob question but after doing some analysing and finding some clients, there are alot that want access to the back end system, adding products, changing & adding content. How do you offer them this, without them seeing that you used wix?

Was think about this and stumbled on your thread and even more motivated, am in a country were i could make good money doing this . New to this site and loving it so far, as soon as i have done 15 post ill pm you and ask about that script not much of a coder. I know how to get rid of the footer ads and that but how do you lose the wix that appears in tab after your website name don't really need that popping up .

- Post ads on classified, there's TONS
- Post in your local job/newspapers (very effective!).
- Get paid ads in your local area.
- Ask friends or relatives (SERIOUSLY
- Go on niche forums. For example: Car forums, a lot have small personal businesses.
- GOOGLE MAPS!!
- Post ads in local shops
- Scrape emails from craigslist or what ever
