From Position 14 to 100+ on Google

So I created a page on Saturday, and I kept adding some backlinks with Sick Submitter daily. Yesterday, I was at the position 14, today I'm not even in the first 10 pages.
Does this mean that google gave me a penalty? If so, is this the end for automatic backlinking?

Either penalty or just google dance, give it some time and don't build more links for a while.

I had one that dropped from 7 to off google for a month then came back at no. 1 and 2 for my two main keywords.

Did you create a new page on an established website or is it a brand new website with 1 page and you created massive links for it? If its a brand new website then its probably G dancing around. Also try to build your links slowly first and add more unique contents to your website.

No, it is an article on hubpages. I'm just doing it to experiment with SEO and master the techniques, so it was kind of disappointing...

Bro give it some time and if it does not come back after a month try a high volume of blog posts.

I think automatic backlinking is ok, but you shouldn't build too many backlinks daily or you can be penalised for spam
