If any of you need some help with windows 2003/2008 or linux servers just PM me. no need for scammers like that linux freak.

Thanks for getting my server done, bro! I was very impressed with how fast you set my server setup. I had previously hired the guy mentioned in this thread named linuxfreak, and I had a horrible experience with him. He did start off good, but after 2 weeks of him avoiding me and still not having my server ready, I had to hire somebody else.

Thanks again for getting the job done, and I'll definitely hit you up again to setup future servers!

Scuba, I happened across alex_br07 too - and he saved my job today! WOOT!

I've been struggling with getting an SMTP solution up for over a week and my client was getting impatient. Almost got fired because other people were not getting it done. But Alex got it done QUICK and set it up WAY better than I ever expected.

Totally kicked butt. I must say. He got on skype (alex_br07) and happily chatted with me while he got everything done in about an hour. I got rotating IPs, and email was working fast.

Excellent stuff bro. I am doing about half that stuff and doing well also. The shaving thing is starting to piss me off. Need to find a new network.

I have 2 questions to you: 1) where do you get the lists with opt-in emails? 2) if you get them using the methods you enumerrated: Emailing, E-whoring, Banner Ads, Facebook, Twitter, Chat, Youtube, Porntube and Offline Marketing, how much money and time did you spend on these methods, before you got such earnings?

I'm looking for some clarification on how the "domains" are related to the "reputation".

I understand that the dedicated IP's are disposable. Once they get blacklisted they are pretty much shot and you need new IP's for the VPS's. But Are the domaina's blacklisted too? (assuming the domains reputation gets affected - still unclear about this, everything I read says IP gets blacklisted but not domains so I'm confused)

For example with my campaign, I beed people to reply to the message I send them. (for my own prodcut) Lets says my compamy is ACME.COM.

I want to buy a single VPS to start with a dedicated/static IP and a cheap .INFO domain so I can burn it for $2. But I want people to be able to REPLY to ACME.COM (my company domain).

If I associated the .INFO with the STATIC IP on the VPS (DNS/rDNS). And if I set the MESSAGE PRoperties of my campaign with the reply to address of ACME.COM will this work?

Will the bad reputation, campaign after campaign affect me real domain of ACME.COM or will the major mail providers/spam filters just look at the registered domains of .INFO?

I need recepient to reply the messages in my case, but don't want that to affect my real domain.

Thanks.

That is exactly the question, I was going to post here, before I saw that the thread creator has been banned but I hope some other smart souls can answer this.

However, based on the discussions I have had, I have been told that the linked domain does get affected/blacklisted too and when that happens, its time to change but the "from" and "reply-to" emails do not get affected, nor does putting your "Main site's" link in the body text affect the main site. However, I would like someone to verify this.

Although, if you are overly concerned about your reply-to address, you could simply use the reply-to address of the domain that you use for mailing and set mail-forwarding on it, so that all emails are forwarded to the email you want to use. That should do the trick, the next time you reply to the email, just use the actual email.

Nice post. Though this is for a very neophyte like me because of the many technicalities and resources needed...

Thanks for this awesome thread.....It is indeed a pure gem...I know the original author isnt here anymore but I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with some questions:

1. Why do you need to use multiple windows VPS's? Is this mainly for scraping or for mailing? If you are rotating IP's and SMTP's, do you really need multiple VPS'es?
2. Can anyone pls share the list of spam traps and suppression lists - looks like its been deleted now?
3. Beyond what level of emails, does 1 need to buy a second SMTP approximately?
4. Whats the best way to check if the IP has been blocked or not?
5.
IEM does not rotate SMTPs, IPs, emails or proxies. I had mine customized to rotate through SMTP accounts on different IPs but cost me a good chunk of change.

Everytime you change VPS, can you simply move the modified IEM over or do all the customizations need to be done each time? I believe if the customizations are done on server side they would need to be done each time, whereas if they are done on IEM, they dont need to be done everytime, is that correct? I was also told that it is not possible to do these customizations on a nulled version of IEM, do you know anything about this.

Thanks

I'm back and yeah I guess some staff member thought I needed a little vacation, Lol. Hope yall missed me.

You don't need to use multiple VPS's for mailing. I just do that because sometimes I will get one suspended due to complaints and when that happens I don't want my whole operation to come to a complete standstill.

2. Can anyone pls share the list of spam traps and suppression lists - looks like its been deleted now?
Here is my huge list of my spamtrap and suppression files. You should add these to any you have. (2.27GB text file when extracted)

Hard to say. Lot's of variables here.

You are correct and whoever told you that a nulled version of IEM cannot be modified is full of you know what. It's basically an elaborate PHP mailer. PHP code can be edited and recoded. Find a coder skilled enough to do it and don't believe everything you hear.

Welcome back kickapooh :) You should be given Jr VIP for some of the best posts on here man. And I've been looking for a good suppression list for ages... +3 rep for you!

Thanks a ton for the replies man..and its great to see you back. This post has been a real inspiration.

I guess I am getting a bit greedy here, but here are a few more questions that I would love to clarify:

* Does having a new domain effect inboxing rates positively or negatively?

* Is it safe for me to use my real landing page URL in the email content (my main website that I intend to build reputation for). In my case, I am not emailing for an affiliate program but to b2b clients, so the idea to plant my brand name in their mind and bring them to my "real" website.

In case its not safe to use your real URL, do you advice using a URL-Shortner. According to "Google's guidelines":

Googles guidelines: Attempts to hide the true sender of the message or the true landing page for any web links in the message may result in non-delivery.

So does this mean using a shortner is counter productive?

* As above, is it safe to use my real email ids in the "reply-to" and "Sent from" fields?

* According to the CAN-SPAM act you are supposed to put your company name in the email, if I do this would this help inboxing rate or could it actually be counter productive and lead to my real domain getting blocked?

great thread guys can anyone recommend a good vps provider for emailing that has clean un-burnt ips or un blacklisted ips please?

Lol, I got the feeling not everyone here thinks the same way but that's how it goes I guess.

That's the question I am asked more than any others. And unfortunately that's the only one I refuse to ansswer. Any mailer knows that finding a good provider for mailing is one of the hardest parts of the setup and every person they tell about it makes it's life-span shorter due to their IP pool becoming blacklisted faster.

* Does having a new domain effect inboxing rates positively or negatively?
I believe it has a slight negative impact but not nearly as much as having a new IP with no sending history. I may be wrong about this though as I do not really pay alot of attention to it.

* Is it safe for me to use my real landing page URL in the email content (my main website that I intend to build reputation for). In my case, I am not emailing for an affiliate program but to b2b clients, so the idea to plant my brand name in their mind and bring them to my "real" website.

The bottom line here is that if you are being compliant you should never want or need to use a URL shortener. You will want people to know what site they are going to. URL shorteners have their place and it's to 'make a URL shorter'. They are not recommended for mailing or anything that may generate complaints.

* As above, is it safe to use my real email ids in the "reply-to" and "Sent from" fields?
Same thing here. If you have nothing to hide, yes. If not, I wouldn't advise it.

* According to the CAN-SPAM act you are supposed to put your company name in the email, if I do this would this help inboxing rate or could it actually be counter productive and lead to my real domain getting blocked?
If you are CAN-SPAM compliant your domain or IP should never get blacklisted because you will be able to dispute any complaints and take the required steps to keep your lists clean and free from people that will blacklist it by clicking spam.

this is tempting thanks for the info.. i setup my own autoresponder based on infinite responder like this way: it's purpose is to serve as a central server connected with multiple vps as senders and can support multiple landing pages if you want.. so the cental server would be safe and serve as your storage for subscribers who are confirmed, unconfirmed, blocked, unsubscribed and blacklisted words.. this way you only need to upload 1 file to new vps which is a code to send connecting to the main.. for cheaper vps i want to get an unmanaged with kloxo hostinabox because it's free =)
