Site ranking question

Hey guys and girls,

I have recently created a website for a local business in my area and I want to rank first on the SERPs, which i figured wouldnt be too hard because it is a very small town. I was thinking of just buying some links for 5$ from fivver so I could really dominate my competition but I was wondering what service would be the best.

Should I just straight out buy some backlinks, or should I buy a link wheel? Like I said there is not a terrible amount of competition I am really just doing this for education purposes into the local sector. Dont know too much about link building but I have heard I want to spread out and not have all high PR links, and the same for not having all spammy links.

What do you think?!

I suggest you to go for do follow backlinks , High PR and if possbile .EDU domains.
I also suggest you to have at least 20% NOfollow links.

Just don't hit your site straight with xRumer. Though if it's local SEO you'll need citations which is another ball game. Just make sure to avoid hitting it straight with "spammy" links. The one I recommend with 20k should be spread over many pages or target tier 1 or 2 links.

... have you tried white hat approach? ... the one to go for when you try to dominate local market.

1st - try to find way to get into wikipedia article about your town.
2nd - be into g maps
3rd - have to be in the web directory of your local yellow pages (however they are called there)
4th - facebook business page with as much as you can get local facebook likes
5th - business page for twitter with proper title + add location to your tweets

.. I will stop here .. of course I am not talking about ordinary things, like sitemaps, fast website, site is optimized for the keyword and many others

... if you will go and start buying b+links from fiverr without any experience in manual blink building - you are doomed.. really

Fiverr is one of the next levels - you outsource people to do things you definitely know you need

anyway, good luck

p.s. search and you will see that it is not difficult to be in the 1st page of G if you have a properly built website (and content) if the competition is low..
