LinkClaw: Anybody used this?

Just wondering if anybody has used this piece of software?

It's on another forum so can't post the link, but if you Google 'linkclaw' you'll find it no problem.

The thing about that forum is that it's swamped with dumb people (a lot more compared to here, it seems) - you could sell an air guitar on there and you'd get orders.

I seen the emails about linkclaw and also yeah...the warrior forum is retarded. So far it seems like a good tool to have on hand - it's cheap at $17/month for unlimited links. I just didn't want to buy without seeing someone from here chime in. I checked all the usual forums I visit for reviews which is here, senuke, vita vee and another private forum and no one seems to be talking at all about it. Weird, so I'm holding off for now.

Looks like a great program. I see that it is now just a one time cost .... no monthly fees.

I have heard mixed reviews, honestly. The program really depends on what you're using it for, in the most specific of ways. I'm sure some of you can unravel this, but there were very strict regulations set on me as I was involved with some trial-and-error testing before and after the beta testing. I never did beta testing, though.

I picked up LinkClaw Elite, it was $47 one time fee. It really is kind of useless. It doesn't do anything to boost your authority, it really just monitors your links. I really could care less.

You basically import your links to it, and it monitors if they valid/invalid and follow/no follow. You can have it create RSS feeds off these links, but it is a lot of manual work just to have some feedback on Valid/Follow links.

If you really care about that information, the one-time fee version is fine provided you only have like 10,000 links you want to monitor or so. It was recently updated where invalid links no longer count against your total which is nice, but I just don't see it worth the time.

It is a real steal if you want that type of functionality, not sure what the price now is but it was $47 for 10,000 links monitored when I got it. Just something that is not important and just adds more manual tasks.

Unless I am missing something, it really didn't seem to do much else.

Linkclaw does a lot more than this.

You need to create an account at hootsuit and then add ping.fm accounts to hootsuit and your created feeds in linkclaw.

What happens is hootsuit reads the feeds from link claw that contain all your backlinks. Hootsuit then drip feeds these to ping.fm which then feeds to your web2.0 sites etc.... Google+, facebook, twitter, redit etc... so boosts your backlinks and also gets them crawled and noticed by google.

Theres a little bit of work setting up bet worth it as a powerful method to boost your backlinks.
