[POLL] How much would you pay for high quality articles?

I'm just doing a little market research, and I would like to know how much you would be willing to pay for a high quality article with these features

• Written by a creative and unique styled native/fluent English speaker

• Proof read for errors

• Using keywords

• With research done

Just trying to see if it is possible for me to deliver in mass at these prices.

(This is not a sales thread, just a little research that will benefit everyone who purchases articles)

I would probably pay... tops $2.50/100 words. There are exceptions though. For instance, if you're an expert on a topic, I'd pay more. The greater knowledge of the topic required, the more I'd pay. The problem is, most writers write on any topic that's ordered and inevitably, quality suffers.

Sure you could research a subject for 15 minutes (or even an hour), and it still wouldn't be anywhere near the level of an article written by someone with a background (education, work experience, etc.) pertaining to the topic. What this comes down to, is you'd be charging people not to just write for them, but to first learn for them. I'd rather just buy from someone who knows their shit.

It would depend on the education and writing samples as well. I've paid $10 per 100 words and I've paid $1 per 100 words. Quality does sell!

I would pay $2.50/100 words for a high quality article that wasn't written by a subject expert, buy maybe someone with a good amount of knowledge on the topic if that's what you were comparing it to.

That's very true, I guess you pay for what you get, and the high price of an expert article reflects that it gives you high demand information from the few that know it.

The way I see it is;

Low quality article = quick small research from other articles written in a poor state, bad grammar, spelling and not interesting.

Medium quality article = deeper research using a few reliable sources decent spelling and grammar, reader will not be put off by reading but will not be thrilled.

High quality article = deep research using reliable sources and only experts articles (if any articles are used), no spelling or grammatical errors, good sense of enjoyment from reading, with that unique touch that gives you that little euphoric feeling while you read it.

Expert article = Personal field research done, know what works and what doesn't written in a way that keeps you excited and wanting to read on while conveying important information found no where else. As well as no spelling or grammatical errors, extremely interesting and valuable information conveyed in fun ways.

I want to be able to produce a service than offers only a fraction of a loss in quality (over an expert article) but at a lower more reasonable price. I'm sure finding the high quality work force would be one of the hardest parts!

What you also need to remember in your high quality - expert quality articles is that it isn't just about the technical writing, but rather the flow, the ability to convey a message and sometimes even the ability to captivate an audience with your vocabulary and nuance.

All that being said I would hazard a guess your writing is in the medium quality category, great in all technical sense but nothing that's going to make me put down John Grisham's latest novel to hear what you have to say.

$2.50 - $3.50 per 100 words is the pricing you might want to look at - that's where, as a buyer, I'd feel comfortable with your work as long as the research is there.

If you're looking to sell articles ... don't. Sell yourself instead! I'd rather pay $20 for 500 words (ie a page) from a native speaker who is university educated than 10 * $2 articles from some spun, unoriginal and incorrect material from someone who has my content language as their third, fourth or even fifth language.

Quality is a big deal. The last time i did writing, i wrote a proposal; the introduction took me over 150 hours alone, and the entire 10 page proposal took over 2000 hours. We secured almost 6-figures of funding as a result. Time well spent.

Find people with high quality, authoritative domains and if you're a specialist you can charge top-price. The opportunities exist, they just aren't common; sending samples, working for free, and having contacts will help.

From what I wrote, I intended to convey the flow and sending the message aspects. However I didn't consider captivating to a specific audience with specific writing styles and techniques. Just shows I'm not one of the great writers.

I'd have thought I would be in between medium and high quality, mind I don't put a lot of effort into conveying my point into forum posts, even though I should, it would make the best of my time posting. I can't be that bad at writing I came out of my English GCSE with an A* not too long ago haha.

However I'm not trying to sell my writing skills if I get this going.

Thank you, I'm not actually trying to sell my writing skills, but my analytical skills and people skills (support, persuasion, etc)

I'm going to use these skills to find great writers give them support as a worker, help them improve and flourish. While giving my customers great support and making them satisfied.

Essentially being a great middle man. (I hope much better than most middle men.)

Personally I believe if I put the time into writing something It can be near flawless, a figure similar to the amount of hours it took you, but I would be wasting my time selling that as an article, It would only be good as a site/blog post of my own.

Content writers should work dirt cheap really. Generally people only want content to place links in it. I wouldn?t want to pay a writer more than 15$ for content writing.

Well, you may want an article for article marketing or you may want it for some content on your site, to help sell products, in that case your going to want it to be as high quality as you can afford.

The correlation of the results are very interesting, around half of people want an article for under $1/100words and the same amount of people would pay over $3/100words and an equal amount in between.

I believe it may be possible for me to offer premium articles at $2.50/100 words a not so premium price

Just to see if this will work in my business model.
