Have they treated you so badly that you are so frightened to get near them? I've been using Godaddy for over a year with no problems, and they won't support any anti-piracy bills because they will lose money, believe me on this.

same here. they truly suck!

I have noticed quite a few peopel with a "hostile" attitude towards Godaddy. I have been using them for a few months without any issues whatsoever. Can someone explain to me where this is coming from?

Is it the support? Prices? etc...

I think the reason people hate GoDaddy is because of how easy it is to get 'tricked' into an automatic renewal payment(which def. sucks, they should change that). Still, it's people's fault for not reading agreements and rushing through the process.

There are no tricks or any hidden charges, simply click the turn off button. Each registrar has the domain renewal on by default.

You're probably right but Godaddy has worst non user friendly interface amongst all registrars. Even good old customer gets tricked sometimes :)

Why whats wrong?/
Thanks for the coupon! The only thing I really don't like with godaddy nowdays is that if your careful and don't look at everything during the checkout, you could be paying for 5yrs for each domain. I have a ton of domains with them, and after they were sold they started going to shit, constant freaking email offers, and tricky bullshit during the checkout. Just make sure you read everything carefully during checkout so your not charged for un needed bullshit.

Too bad, godaddy domains dont come with whoisguard. I think its quite crucial these days, unless you want your competitors to know where you live.

$1.99 + whoisguard = the price of a domain from internet.bs... so might as well get it from them?
