The best article submitting sodtware OUTSIDE amr today?

Thanks for the info on Article Demon... I think I'll get it.

So if any of you have access to cheap deals PM me ;)

Cool, how long until it's ready?

It will come out packed with features, and the entire setup is "unusual" for standard IM products, i.e.:

- MFC instead C#/JAVA (which basically means more coding but much faster interface)
- Modern GUI (office look and feel)
- it doesn't use IE to connect to the Internet (no more viruses)
- captcha solver with at least 75% success (computer vision at its best - not another tesseract based solver)
- proxy list management
- project management (for those of us who offer submission services)
- directory list management
- everything else you'll expect to find in such a product

Given all the above it will take another month or so to finish the submitter.

Save a spot for me, I would like to be on your beta list !

I'll second that remark.

Just as a note, I will be opening an article directory within two weeks. This one will require decent content- no spun garbage that makes zero sense. I will open the floodgates for all of BHW for about one week, and then I'll be going back to manual approval.

Sounds like a really nice product! I'll definitely be checking this out! Have you figured out how much will you be selling it?

Lancis that sounds awesome. I would love to try it out when it's ready. If you have a PM list please add me. Are you thinking of going with a one-off fee or subscription?

I might go with Ultimate Demon right now as Scritty suggested. I can import my AMR list and from what I've hear it seems quite good. Also does other submissions too and they have linkwheel integration coming.

Digixmas has an article submitter that works and has a limited free version, but the number of directories it submits to is small, I havent used it enough to see if its possible to add your own article directories, and also it costs $10 per article :s:

Oh yeah, link is http://www.digixmas.com/article-submitter.php

I don't like the subscription approach, it obviously brings more money. But its sort of unfair towards the buyer.

I didn't settle for the price yet. However, I'm sure in one thing, there will be hell of discount for BHW members. :-)

I'm interested, PM me when you have something ready to go. I'm in.

Article Demon DOES allow adding sites.
However, I've switched to Ultimate Demon which does everything. pop to Youtube and check some of the vids, there are some pretty good discounts available for it on there as well.

In general a LOT of article sites went down in 2011 (think 60-70% either stopped allowing submissions - or went altogether).

I've scraped new lists now , Dashboard, Beach, WPMU etc and have maybe 2,200 good ones in Ultimate Demon (down from almost 8000 in AMR a year ago)

Hell - even I had about 30 article sites last year. I installed WPMU in sub domains on a load of my smaller sites thinking the content might add some benefit to the main site (which it did - but at the cost of way too much time and hassle) and then I took them all down again.

AMR these days is flakey though. Mine just hangs far too often (like every time I use it almost) I barely get one task done without having to restart it once or twice, and that just pi$$e$ me off in pretty short order.

It's like my old XBX360. I have it - I know it's supposed to be good, but every time I turn the fecker on something goes wrong - eventually I have no faith left in it and move on to something else.

Enf of the day, spending a little on a subscription product where the developers spend the hours keeping the scripts up to date and finding new sites seems better off than relying on one-off-fee products that so often end up as abandonware as, once the sales have peaked and died down, has no incentive to keep the product up to date.

Scrapebox is about the only exception to that rule I can think of.

If I want to scrape more site it's to add additional value, not just to get the bloody thing to work in the first place.

Sorry Vince, but for the past few months AMR has really let me down. It seems I'm not the only one.

You know my email addy mate, If you read this thread, let me know if you are going to do anything about it mate, else we can all just move on.

i would have to agree with you here. I gave up on amr awhile back after having so much success with it. I finally started trying to get it running again, and finally it is working for me.

This is obviously temporary as I know it will start bugging out again.

The thing is, there is no real motivation for Vince to make a more stable software. Its costly and time consuming. There is also nothing out there that is remotely as good or as effective as AMR.

Until someone can come out with something some what close to what amr has to offer, then we will start seeing some improvements, or strait abandonment of the software.

Either way, AMR is irreplaceable at the moment. And to whoever says they are building something better, how many times have we heard that? Shit, I'm building the most extreme article marketing software this world has ever seen ;) Just wait guys LOL

So you don't think that Article Demon is a viable alternative??? Why not?

And what about other products such as Submiteze and Sick Submitter... why couldn't they fill the need for articles?

Demon (either article or ultimate) are both decent alternatives.
I have almost as many article sites in ultimate demon as I have in AMR - plus thousands of other sites for other submission types as well..the difference being Ultimate demon works (99% of the time) whereas AMR falls over every fecking time I do anything to it.

I run AMR on my home system. 2500k at 4.4Ghz 8 gigs ram blah blah..I cut and paste a 2000 word spun resource box in..and I have to wait sometimes up to 15 minutes for it to "unlock" itself.

I ran it for ages sweet as a nut last year, now It's a pretty piss poor piece of kit.

IF (and I've heard all this stuff before) the kit listed above is what it says it is..fair ebough.
For now - for reliabilty and 85% of the sites you can get in AMR, Ultimate Demon or Article Demon win hads down

If you have the cash get UD one off - there are videos on Youtube offering $50 discount, you can then have the best article tool, bookmarking tool and directory submission tool all in one, with a decent RSS, Video, press release and WEB 2 submitter thrown in, theres even a forum submitter built in.

Most have the ability to add your own sites. I've got fecking thousands of sites in my set up - so many I crashed it last week - and the devs put a fix up within 24 hours of me sending them the crash report now THAT'S what I call service

I would rather pay more - or a sub for a tool that "just works" than be trolling these forums moaning about "what used to work" and how we - as users might try and fix some software the developer has more or less abandoned. (AH Incansoft - Abandonware to the stars)

Scritty

Wow, if it's not fast on your 2500k system it'll crawl on my cheap VPS lol. Thanks man... Ultimate Demon it is.

Well I tried to use Article Demon while my AMR was down and OMG! Hated it!! It wouldn't create accounts - kept saying it did then still said 0 accounts.

AMR just came out with new Version, downloaded it yesterday, imported my own list and got 742 Successful Submissions with 281 Live Links. Not too shabby :)

I have not found any alternative to do what it does. So if you come up with one let us know LOL.

The secret is in the article directories' list and how you setup the account creation and article submission. If you get that right, AMR is the best option. Article demon is good if you don't want to spend hours cleaning your list, but the article sites are limited.
