Need help with CL image ads

I'm trying to turn my text into an image, save it and post the image in craigslist.

Everything looks great until I put the html code into CL. The image is too small to read the text. I can't figure out how to get it to show larger, as the size I made it.

I tried adding width and height attributes to the html tag, which made the image larger, but distorted the text.

I'm at a loss here.
