I've played around with content generators and spinner and I end up just pretty much re-writing it myself....so, I just write it myself to start with. As far as ideas. I scrape some on the topic, read a couple and fire off words. Amazon's 'what's inside' is a good source. Here's another one that I do...I pull up videos on that niche/topic. Short ones, like a couple minutes, and watch it. Since everything is spoken, wahla, easy unique content. Of course, I inject my own flavor. Takes about 20 minutes to produce an article.

Good Stuff Guys! I'm Glad I got this post started, I will comment on some of the points made below.

The lengths that some of you go to in order to get unique content seem exhausting to me. Is it really that hard to write your own articles?

@Benny8877 - If you have to write 8 hours a day on different subjects that don't relate to each other it can be a challenge because you have to mentally get into the subject. For example if you have to spend 2 hours writing 10 articles on gardening, then spend another 3 hours writing on "how to be a better chess player", then spending another 3 hours writing about "how to be a better husband", it can be quite challenging. If you are on the same subject the entire time then I would agree with you. But when the subject changes and you got to pump out alot of content fast and you don't have that time to really think that is where strategies and tactics come in. I think some of the readers would agree with me on this point.

One method that I use is to find regional periodicals for a certain niche and borrow their content. Example: Say you have a regional fishing niche. Find a magazine for say Timbuktu fishing and use their content. Seldom will you find a reference to that magazine in the serps.

Another way is to sit down and read 4-5 article on the net about your subject. Get a cup of coffee, fire up Dragon Naturally Speaking, sit back in you chair with your eyes closed and dictate.

I have used both with good results.

Good Points, I drive an hour to work every day so I'll convert text to speech, listen to tons of content while i drive to work, when i get a good idea, etc, i'll stop the recording and record my thoughts, etc. then when i get home or to the office i'll listen to my recordings and start fleshing out the article

Why ? I used this method few months ago, without problems...

I search books related to my niche and I use OCR to extract articles.
Then I use a content mixer to mix related articles and sometimes I spun.

I like this alot! Is your gpt a custom or a clone? I had one a while back. Very good idea. As long as the content isn't dupe, it looks good! I'm curious how you get people on your site? seo? ppc? or do you just get the members to write articles to promote the site in seo?

Here is gold mine method, I search for content in other languages, then use google translate on the articles. The rest is just fixing up the articles so they make sense. You can build up quality content very fast.

Good idea, someone commented later on in the thread that this wont work. and i agree with that comment to a point but here is a way around it. Use a book that is only in another language, and use a human to translate it then spin it, you should be golden right?

my method is simply too wicked and complex to explain but revolves around massive amounts of spinning (half a million words worth of spintax) and programming logic rules to do basic Natural Language Generation. Besides that I also use regular multi-level/complex spinning and regular hand written articles. For niches i afford to get banned in, I also computationally generate content (unreadable) and scrape content.

One method that works for me:

1. Go to the library (an actual one)
2. Look up relevant resources that I can use on my site/blog.
3. Scan articles from those books using ImagetoText App (free). This will turn the photo of the article into editable text. A real time-saver.
4. Edit those articles so they are scannable and not be blocks of texts.
5. Spin it using an article spinner.
6. Post it.

Tip: if the book is fairly new, make sure you check it's uniqueness on the internet.
