I read the entire thread from start to finish. Thanks for the details and taking the time to answer everyone's questions.

At first I thought the trick was in the 301 redirect. But after reading everything you mention that you do not really need to do this if domain is over 30days old. Is this correct?

I have a 2 month old domain that I've been trying to rank for a medium high comp search term. Have built the load of links to it and I can't seem to get past the 3rd page. 100's of web 2.0s, 1000's of article blasts to the web 2.0's, bookmarking, .edu's, profile links, article networks, docs, videos, 100000's of xrumer links, SB blasts, likes, +1's, tweets, and threw in over 20 linkpushes for BTB's service just for good measure.

So from reading everything since my domain is 2 months old I could bypass the 301 redirect and just use

For $155, I get 1,665 High PR Links in 3 days (medium-hard)

If this is so, it is A LOT simpler way of going about it than I have been doing.

One last thing. Took a look at the order form what is a unique indentifier and is it needed? Just target the main URL? Use only targeted KW for anchor text or spin as many LSI keywords as possible?

All those links you have built to your site have been a waste of time. Xrumer, web 2.0, edu, profiles, etc. they are not effective in 2012.

Do not use a unique identifier because this creates a footprint.

Target your main url, and use about 2-3 keywords; 1 your main keyword and 2 LSI.

You can go to other "internet marketing hangout" places and purchase aged domains (3+ months) for like $5-$10 and receive them within 24 hours.

Nice share Bobby, you always share quality methods. other places to check for expired /aged domains is Freshdrop,Namepros,Sitepoint,Domainface.

The older, the better, but I have had good results with 3+ months.

It's 14 years old AND has my keyword in it! Haha, really good beginners luck find, I realized I can still push some backlinks to it and ping it to keep it indexed until I get it, then add my article and stuff then ping it again and get that index updated then 301 it. : )

I don't know why they would do it, but I've seen it happen. Awhile ago, I was following a particular thread made by a non-Jr. VIP, and I noticed that it disappeared, so I myself joined Jr. VIP thinking that it would be there. It wasn't -- it got moved to Exec VIP.

Making it Private contrary to popular belief WILL NOT fool Google since they have access to ICAN data and they can see the real owner.

Google cannot get access to private registration data, unless they were used as the registrar for the domains, which they wouldn't be because they don't offer domain registration services to the public.

Sorry georgebg but you are not correct

Google can not see private WHOIS information

Google is an ICANN registrar, yes. But this does not mean they have access to WHOIS data. A registrar can only see private whois information for domains they have sold. Google does not sell domains..... yet, hence they can not see private whois information from other registrars. They have no means of accessing this information legally. They would need a court ruling to gain access to private whois information.

Bobby, this is not correct, when you accept a domain to your account you can choose to keep the old owner's whois, or you can manually change it back to the original whois data if you don't have that option.

You do not need to start a new site for it to be successful.

You need to focus on the link building part.

I would recommend having some content because it will be 7x easier to rank.
