PM me if your not comfortable posting

I was just reading a magazine which hard an article about bitcoin, and also a half page including pictures of silk road. From what the article covered you'll need to get tor setup and installed on your PC to be able to load the silk road site in your browser.

That's all I know, sorry.

1. Install TOR bundle
2. Start up TOR bundle (connects to TOR network and open up Aurora-browser with default settings)
3. Visit Wikipedia for Silk Road's public .onion -address
4. Access the said .onion -addres by clicking on it
5. ????
6. Congratulate yourself - you're now part of the damn secret society that dwells in the underground scene of Internet that no regular mortal knows of.

Haha I laughed at number 6.

Anyway: To get started it is as simple as getting the TOR bundle and then getting the latest address of the "hidden WIKI". This is the newbie portal to SOME of the wonders/horrors of the deep web. A very small fraction of the content out there is linked through the hidden wiki. Getting deeper in is a matter of spending time and developing "relationships" with people and finding communities. But in order to do that you actually need to give some level of contribution.

A couple things to keep in mind.
-unlike regular web surfing there is no one watching out for you (protecting you) from virus/phishing etc. so tread lightly.
-TOR does not protect you from authorities finding you but it probably helps

Overall I would say the onions are slow and unreliable. In my experience unless you are looking for something illegal enough for authorities to care there isn't much that is interesting on the deep web.

i used it like a proxy to login on yt accounts and create mails

I've never even thought TSR for example as scam, but that's a great idea - take some photos of coffee creme in a minigrip bag and say that it's cocaine, take payment via BitCoin, and then just get your dollars via MtGox or something.
